O’Reilly to MKH: Hey, you know who’s pretty hateful? The Daily Kos
posted at 9:32 pm on April 9, 2008 by Allahpundit
Time for another turkey shoot in the comments of his favorite lefty blogs, this time with Charlton Heston’s death providing the ammunition. Plus, MK tries to explain the tricky concept behind the “Stuff White People Like” site. And … no mention whatsoever of the YouTube beating in Florida? Really?
Exit question: When are they going to give her a weekly segment worthy of her? Can’t they get Alf or someone to do this one?

I don’t care what kind of segment they give her, I watch the show because she’s HOT!

Dump BO and stick with Red Eye
scipioafricanus on April 9, 2008 at 9:37 PM
O’Reilly increasingly is becoming unwatchable. He is actually a bloviating ass. The only times his show is worth watching is when Bernie Goldberg, Dennis Miller and MKH are on (although MKH is wasted on that segment). I wish Tony Snow would have the 8:00 PM slot. I think O”Reilly is an Internet porn addict.
Hilts on April 9, 2008 at 9:40 PM
The hottest topic on my computer screen is MKH!
peacenprosperity on April 9, 2008 at 9:41 PM
The video is great if you turn down the volume when O’Reily is talking and up with MKH is speaking….ahhhh…who needs the sound up, it worth watching here whether there is sound or not!
flytier on April 9, 2008 at 9:41 PM
Right after they give “The Boss” her own show.
But that is just me.
F15Mech on April 9, 2008 at 9:43 PM
Well I think he talked about it yesterday. Would make sense to talk it up with MKH, but seems he does have some restraint.

infidel on April 9, 2008 at 9:48 PM
Unfortunately, never. Name one guest that has one worthy of their talents. Miller maybe, but Bill interrupts him too much. Malkin and KP was okay, but it too was strained. Name one. Can’t be done; it’s the O’Reilly Factor.
Spirit of 1776 on April 9, 2008 at 9:59 PM
1. WTF does that medical-records thing have to do with the Internet?
2. Agreed, MK deserves something better than this stupid O’Reilly gig.
3. You forgot to use her official nickname:

Hot Ham & Cheese(O’Reilly)!
Chakra Hammer on April 9, 2008 at 10:00 PM
No offense intended, but I can’t take her TV persona.
Does she have a relative who gets her these gigs?
benrand on April 9, 2008 at 10:01 PM
Stop! Hammertime!
I always love how MKH is so cheerful and mellow for these segments, and O’Reilly’s in Outrage! Mode.
doubleplusundead on April 9, 2008 at 10:05 PM
Sometimes I have to wonder if Bill is really beyond clueless. I mean, I appreciate him exposing the blind seething cauldron of hatred known as the left-o-sphere, but, jeez, Bill is a bit behind the times
William Teach on April 9, 2008 at 10:13 PM
Greta is all over the YouTube beating.
I never watch her; it’s all scandalous stuff.
frankj on April 9, 2008 at 10:14 PM
O’Reillys problem is when a guest is on let them talk
and let them finish,stop interrupting!
Michelle and MKH would make an excellent addition to
Fox News family, that would be a daily must see!
canopfor on April 9, 2008 at 10:20 PM
> I don’t care what kind of segment they give her, I watch the show because she’s HOT!
I have always looked upon MKH as the daughter that I never had.
I guess that means that I am old.

When she says “Nekkid“ on a nightly basis……..?

Jaibones on April 9, 2008 at 10:34 PM
I hate to say it, but if she was just as talented a blogger as she is now, but looked like Jane Hathaway, she would never get the same gig.
Fire away!
Del Dolemonte on April 9, 2008 at 10:37 PM
I already had to delete one comment that disparaged her in this thread. Can you guys really not lay off the personal shots even with respect to someone who’s done work for the site, reads it, and whose own father comments here? Is it that important to you to get these little cracks in? For the love of god.
Invite me over to your houses sometime so I can meet your female friends and tell you how ugly and stupid they are.
Allahpundit on April 9, 2008 at 10:41 PM
I just heard that the “Stuff White People Like” guy’s book deal is for $350,000. He started blogging in late January.
By the time you read this, I will be dead.
Jim Treacher on April 9, 2008 at 10:42 PM
Anybody who knows these kind of people would totally crack up at this blog. My personal favorite…#40. I just found out about it last week and I sat there for two hours LMAO. You probably have to live in an urban area and be aware of what trends are up in the “hipster” community (I laughed at the metal water bottle thing, because I used to see all the “white people” using Nalgene, but suddenly like 50% moved to metal) to really “get” some of the jokes.
malan89 on April 9, 2008 at 10:42 PM
I don’t think I’ve seen more than 1 of 10 comments on the Policing the Net threads that actually talk about the segment. It’s either some creep professing their horniness or someone completely trashing MKH for no reason. What the hell, guys?
malan89 on April 9, 2008 at 10:46 PM
It’s a shame that you even had to post that, but I’m glad you did……
Seven Percent Solution on April 9, 2008 at 10:51 PM
MKH really does deserve a more serious segment. It seems like every time BO brings her on it’s to talk about left-net stupidity instead of the deeper things that she writes about at Townhall.
It’s like you can almost see it in her facial expressions at the end of these clips, as if she’s getting tired of congratulating BO about his latest leftist outrage.
Someone needs to wake up and give this woman something with some meat to it instead of this barrel-fishing garbage!!
Tman on April 9, 2008 at 10:59 PM
Allah, I love it when your headlines make me laugh.
And the rest of you, all hating on B O’Reilly here all the time. I don’t get it. I think he is great….but only if you TIVO by some of the silly, stupid, asinine segments like body language. We all know when someone is full of it, and that does not need to be discussed.
kahall on April 9, 2008 at 11:06 PM
Welcome to the internet. And the accompanying lack of social restraint. Disappointing.
Spirit of 1776 on April 9, 2008 at 11:10 PM
Actually, BOR covered the beating on Tuesday night. He had some lawyer on that said the girls/guys involved didn’t really do any harm and should all get community service and a suspended juvenile sentence. BOR said they should all be tried as adults and serve 6 months time minimum.
mojojojo on April 9, 2008 at 11:19 PM
Some of the stuff on this site is hateful too.
arizonateacher on April 9, 2008 at 11:27 PM
That’s probably why, then.
Jim Treacher on April 9, 2008 at 11:29 PM
What? Do you mean, because I don’t get? If so, I don’t get it…again.
kahall on April 9, 2008 at 11:33 PM
Damn good and long overdue point.
I expect there has been many times where MKH’s dad wanted to “protect” his daughter based on some of the comments on this site.
Forget about MKH/her Dad for a sec.
People need to remember that this site is also watched/quoted by the MSM.
While I have not been 100% perfect in remembering that, I have generally tried to keep things in check.
F15Mech on April 9, 2008 at 11:34 PM
There does seem to be a few here that either are just nasty, lack self-control, or are intentionally planting inappropriate comments.
The difference between HA and Kos is that:
1. HA is moderated, and moderated fairly and well.
2. When somebody says something inappropriate at HA, they get called out on it by other posters, as well as staff. The Kos Kidz pile on the praise for the looniest and most hateful diatribes.
3. HA only uses the ban hammer when necessary (i.e. “Nuke that place in Saudi Arabia which shall not be named” comments). Kos uses the ban hammer to maintain an idealogical echo-chamber.
mojojojo on April 9, 2008 at 11:36 PM
True, but nothing has been hatefull that I can recall.
F15Mech on April 9, 2008 at 11:44 PM
Many of his viewers are running out of time and many have trouble remembering things, so Bill can get away with saying the same stuff over and over. It’s new to them every time.
LevStrauss on April 9, 2008 at 11:48 PM
This Huffington woman — back when I used to watch the tv –some years ago — she was the Republican voice that CNN used to have on for their roundtable discussions.
I got the cognitive dissonance pain happening now because they say she is the media leader of radical leftists.
I know it’s the same person because they show her image and I remember that person had that eastern bloc accent back when she was the voice of the Republican Party in the media.
Buddahpundit on April 9, 2008 at 11:52 PM
Yep, Working for her was one of MM first gigs
F15Mech on April 10, 2008 at 12:02 AM
Weekly? Daily preferably. At least a half hour worth. I’d start watching the news again if they did. Heck, make it a full hour. Give MM “the Factor” and maybe have KP vs MKH for H&C.
Yakko77 on April 10, 2008 at 12:11 AM
BTW, it was good to hear someone on the news defending Charlton Heston. I browsed around DU and Kos and it was quite brutal so I’m glad MKH called them out. Even regarding the celebrity medical info being stolen bit, I don’t normally shed too many tears for the plight of Hollyweird but I do despise the stalkeratsi and those who aid them. No one, not even dopey celebs deserve to put up with that.
Yakko77 on April 10, 2008 at 12:19 AM
Really? You’re only noticing this NOW? I haven’t been able to watch him seriously for years.
DaveS on April 10, 2008 at 12:58 AM
O’Reilly blew it IMO when he trashed the Swift Boat Veterans 4 years ago; never really trusted him after that. He used to go after quack judges and find interesting news outside the studio. No more.
Michelle Malkin with a show on Fox would be great, but she was treated too shabbily by resident leftist and revenue stream Geraldo. She would need a permanent spitting-range restraining order against the open borders race monger.
Feedie on April 10, 2008 at 2:31 AM
I’m surprised he hasn’t gone after Red Eye and Greg’s talk of young boys and off color bantor.
If it was on another network BO would be on it like nobody’s business.
I bey BO is the reason it got moved up an hour.
AprilOrit on April 10, 2008 at 3:42 AM
He’ll be calling HA a smear site.
The man cannot handle constructive criticism at all.

*yaaaaaaawn*
Jockolantern on April 10, 2008 at 7:01 AM
For me it’s been since he was a reporter on a second tier station in NY back in the 70’s. His main competition was McKaffertie (sp), of current CNN fame, on channel 9, WOR. BO’R(e) was on WNEW channel 5, I believe. He hasn’t changed and I only watch when MM or MKH are on.
jerrytbg on April 10, 2008 at 7:12 AM
Hey…. it’s a fun pastime! lol
jerrytbg on April 10, 2008 at 7:14 AM
A few weeks ago, MKH did an interview with one of the other blogs as part of that blog’s series on conservative women bloggers. As part of that interview, she more or less admitted that her looks were part of the equation leading to her success.
But, the point here is that she is talented, and it’s a shame that B’O treats her as the young whipper-snapper he sends out to do spooky internet stories (and feed his internet porn addiction…) Does O still do a weekly Mustache segment?
Outlander on April 10, 2008 at 7:33 AM
The sooner, the better (and preferably an hour-long segment). She’s good enough to fill that hour; listen to the first part of the above, when Bill had her do a serious topic, on the breach of medical confidentiality, for a change.
steveegg on April 10, 2008 at 8:43 AM
AS I said, the only reason to even peak in are the Dennis Miller/Bernie Goldberg/MKH segments although MKH is being wasted on that show. Sometimes his talking points memos are interesting – otherwise it is crap like “Culture Quiz” and in 8 months more of that “War on Christmas” crap.
Also am I the only one who finds Dick Morris increasingly boring and irrelevant?
Hilts on April 10, 2008 at 8:47 AM
I didn’t know one could increase on being 100% boring and irrelevant.
steveegg on April 10, 2008 at 9:04 AM
No mention of George C Looney, who said Heston deserved Alzheimer’s because of his NRA work. It’s fitting that C Looney’s movie bombed on the same weekend that Heston passed away.
jgapinoy on April 10, 2008 at 9:08 AM
Well, Clooney Movie Bombs is a bit Dog Bites Man, isn’t it?
Jim Treacher on April 10, 2008 at 9:28 AM
What a tool.
ronsfi on April 10, 2008 at 9:39 AM
I wish. She’s a great representative for conservative women, smart but also funny and nice. I’d hate for her to end up with all the psycho haters like Michelle has, though.
Tanya on April 10, 2008 at 10:37 AM
Bill O has been burying the needle on the dumb-ometer lately. If he could keep his big mouth shut for five seconds and let somebody else talk, he might learn something.
whitetop on April 10, 2008 at 10:37 AM
I love to watch O’Reilly and I have been watching him for years, but I have to agree with alot of what has been said on this threat so far and even what TV critic Marvin Kitman said recently about Bill. The Factor was great because it used to do stories that were important and the media ignored. They still do that a bit, but not nearly as much as the show has just become about Bill. Howard Stern unfortunately made a move the same way, the Stern show was best when it was creative and different, but somewhere around the time of the movie Private Parts the show just became about Howard. I am glad Hannity has picked up upon Kirsten Powers and Michelle Malkin and it says something about the Factor that many of the once regular and great guests no longer appear on the show and appear elsewhere on Fox. O’Reilly was once great and the show still have great moments and still has the potential to be great. But O’Reilly is clueless about the ‘Net and current pop culture. I especially get mad as an educator when he does education segements and talks about how he knows about teaching because back in 1972 he taught catholic school for one year.
arizonateacher on April 10, 2008 at 10:38 AM
Here’s something that kind of bugs me.
“Internet Expert.”
Not to take anything away from MKH, whom I admire, but isn’t that moniker a little over the top?
JohnTant on April 10, 2008 at 10:42 AM
In much the same demented manner as “sexpert” is – not that it’s MKH’s fault (at least, I presume she doesn’t advertise herself as such). Compared to Bill though, she’s Archimedes.
That guy just isn’t all that bright. These segments are beneath her, but perhaps it’ll work out towards greater things!
LimeyGeek on April 10, 2008 at 11:46 AM
Hey Bill. I’ve got a headline for you. WATER IS WET.
I know. It’s kind of earth shattering. But roll with me for a bit. Think about it.
TheUnrepentantGeek on April 10, 2008 at 2:51 PM
I’ve seen little if anything here that is “constructive” at all. I’m really tired of the repeated criticism of Bill. Fine. You people don’t like him.
Noted.
