Believe it or not, he is on the Phila. Eagles’s post-game show locally, and comes off as some average fan that snuck into the studio. It’s like me being on a panel of brain surgeons. I mean, I think that there have been wonderful advances in brain surgery since the Mayans, and I know that it involves the brain and all, but that’s about my familiarity with it. Same for Eddy’s insights into NFL-level football. He doesn’t know when he doesn’t know something. But in this case he’s right. Unless, of course, Olby IS on the Hussein payroll, which is highly likely.

The problem was that, after Hillary’s debate gaffe in October turned around the momentum, the loons who make up the core audience of “Countdown” were all strongly in Obama’s camp, and had no problem demonizing Hillary in the same way they do Republicans because she didn’t live up to their ideals. That left Keith with a conundrum as the primary season neared — continue his decade-long love affair with the Clintons and risk loosing what little audience he had left, or throw Bill and Hillary under the bus and jump on the Obama bandwagon to make sure he retains the loyal support of the netroots crowd. So Keith basically did to the Clintons in January what Bill Richardson did two months later, which might make people like Rendell mad, but it’s nothing more than what Bill and Hillary would do to one of their own people under similar circumstances.

Too bad Rendell’s such a sleaze — he has a quick mind.

Yes, he is sleazy in the Klinton tradition. Legalizing gambling here in Pennsylvania has been his mission. Trying to influence who gets the licenses is the game.
