Surprise: Hillary caught in another stump-speech lie

In her defense, she is a pathological liar.
Over the last five weeks, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has featured in her campaign stump speeches the story of a health care horror: an uninsured pregnant woman who lost her baby and died herself after being denied care by an Ohio hospital because she could not come up with a $100 fee.
The woman, Trina Bachtel, did die last August, two weeks after her baby boy was stillborn at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. But hospital administrators said Friday that Ms. Bachtel was under the care of an obstetrics practice affiliated with the hospital, that she was never refused treatment and that she was, in fact, insured…
Linda M. Weiss, a spokeswoman for the not-for-profit hospital, said the Clinton campaign had never contacted the hospital to check the accuracy of the story, which Mrs. Clinton had first heard from a Meigs County, Ohio, sheriff’s deputy in late February…
A Clinton spokesman, Mo Elleithee, said candidates would frequently retell stories relayed to them, vetting them when possible. “In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet it,” Mr. Elleithee said. “If the hospital claims it did not happen that way, we respect that.”
Karen Tumulty at Time is shocked that Her Majesty’s crack research team couldn’t get to the bottom of this. To which I say: Why? They couldn’t figure out that Norman Hsu was a fugitive; they didn’t start pushing the Wright scandal until after Obama had taken an insurmountable delegate lead; they neglected to check the Tuzla story despite the availability of news footage that would have disproved it before she went out there and opened a major foreign policy speech with it. They’re incompetent, just like the strategic wing of the team was incompetent in not anticipating Obama’s operations in caucus states. Just like the financial wing of the team was incompetent in vastly overspending on underperforming assets, led as it was by Hillary’s hand-picked moron of a campaign manager who blew $30 mil on a senate race two years ago in which she was basically running unopposed. And this, in the context of supposedly being ready on day one. With all the idiots surrounding her, it’s a testament to the Clinton brand that she hasn’t imploded already. Soon enough.

The dems always have embarassing little heart-tugging vignettes with poor helpless idiots in distress in them. These story always are constructed to let you feel all the supposed pain of these pathetic little people, and therefore allow these lying leftwing political crooks to slide some more socialism onto our great nation.
Harry Reid, Gephardt, etc. And no one ever seems to be able to find these little darlings – because they simply don’t exist!
Unfortunately for Hillary this poor woman did exist, and her version of this tragic story was proven to be bs.
As far as Harry Reid’s little imaginary Mexican mojado friend “Benny”, he is still at large..

I have three little words concerning Senator Clinton –”NEW YORK FOOLS.” Where do these people get their political education, in Times Square sex shops? It amazes me that Rudy was able to get elected there… those voters are beyond hope.

I thought, at least it’s true in the commonwealth of Virginia, that nobody can be refused medical care because of lack of insurance or funds. There are signs posted to that effect in hospitals around here. You may get just enough to keep you alive, I dont know, but under the law you cant be refused. I cant speak for Ohio.
But this fit Clinton’s emotional appeal to the ignorant masses. So she used it, thinking nobody ever call her on it. Maybe she really believed it. That doesnt matter. She’s responsible for what she says and her team should be working better. But on the other hand knowing her history, I doubt that she cared if it was true or not.

Hillary and Barack both excel at writing fiction. Their executive abilities are another matter altogether.

Cracking me up….
Can’t wait to watch the Clinton’s spin the truth surrounding the millions upon millions they have made doing next to nothing that can be seen on the surface. It’s no wonder why the Clinton’s released (7) years of tax returns only after much pressure from the MSM. It’s also no wonder why several years of those tax returns were recently “adjusted-modified”.

April 5 (Bloomberg) — Former President Bill Clinton has earned $15.4 million from billionaire Ron Burkle’s Yucaipa Cos. investment firm since 2003, according to tax documents released by his wife, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The earnings represent 20 percent of the approximately $75 million Bill Clinton earned during the same period, according to the documents. That may raise new questions about what services he performed for Los Angeles-based Yucaipa, whose investors include the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al- Maktoum.
Tax lawyers said the Yucaipa partnership income for Bill Clinton looks to be a form of salary because it was in round numbers for most years.
“Most people who make that much money work for it,” said Yale University tax law professor Michael Graetz, a former Treasury Department official in President George H.W. Bush’s administration. “What are they being paid for, and if it’s the Sheikh of Dubai paying the husband of somebody who might be the next president of the United States, what do they think they’re paying for?”

And Obama continues to state that he did not know that his closed friend, pastor and mentor of 20 years is conspiracy nutcase and a Jew hating racist. So what else is new?
I don’t like Hillary at all and certainly will be voting for McCain vs whomever gets the Dem nomination, but doesn’t bother anyone Obama is getting the support of the Dem party for the nomination even though he is clearly a Jew hating racist???

And you thought crime didn’t pay
Clintons: $109.2 Million in 7 Years
True, it’s not illegal. But it should be. Book deals and seven-figure speaking deals are an easy way to pay politicians after they leave office for favors performed while in office.
georgealbert on April 6, 2008 at 9:50 AM
Liberals have no moral issue with Jew hating racist people, including politicians, religious leaders, Hollywood icons, et al. What boggles the mind is the fact that 80% of Jews vote for these Jew hating racists.

“The woman and her baby died…”
Huh? It’s a baby now? What the frack? I thought it was a ‘fetus’ – why does Hillary give a rip about a piece of tissue?
Oh… that’s right: because Democrats can’t keep their hypocrisy from showing.

She really should seek help.

These “I feel your pain” stories are truly insulting. They are just a device used to establish empathy with voters instead of providing real solutions to problems. Most of the time they are shamelessly exaggerated, or, as in this case, blatant fabrications. It is all designed to justify some radical governmental action that will give the incompetent government more power and control and the people less. Why do so many Americans want their leaders to give them empathy anyway?

I’m watching that lying shill Lanny Davis spin this on Fox right now. He’s implying everybody’s lying except Hillary and the sheriff and wont let Gretchen get a word in edgewise, and telling her how to produce the news. It’s plain she’s dusgusted with this jerk. This guy is just one despicable SOB. Why they continue to give this lying spinning Clinton hack credibility is beyond me.

That Hellary’s staff should be fact checking everything she says is amazing enough, since they should be vetting everything before it passes her fetid lips, but even more amazing is that they would need to be told so at this point. I mean, knowing that she’s a sociopath and all.

The best Hilliary fairy tale is the story about her wanting to join the Army or Marine Corps..LOL! She would make a polygraph machine exploded.

“In her defense, she is a pathological liar.”
I know that this is sarcasm, but in my world it’s oxymoronic and it explains why the Clintoons, etc, have gotten entrenched in American politics: ‘They can’t help it, they’re sick, they’re driven’, he had to share a bed with his mom, HRC had a mean dad.’ Barf…
At least no one here really defends them…right?
