I think the Left assumes that us tea-totalers will be ‘scandalized’ that McCain’s wife comes from ‘beer money’.
Nope. Doesn’t matter to me one bit, though I recently read that she also has a part in the ownership of the Arizona Diamondbacks. That is a great big thumbs up in my book-I love baseball the way most of you seem to love beer.

I don’t get it, Jim. Am I a well-known liar on here? I’m pretty sure that was my third comment ever (on here). Also, Lone Star ain’t so bad. And up until maybe a year ago it sold for $3.25 for a 6-pack of bottles. That’s right, bottles.

Shiner Boch is so well known now that I’ve had friends buy a case on their way out of town. Never had one even want to taste a Lone Star. It just looks nasty. I’ll stick with a nice white from Napa Valley.

As far as the beer heiress, what a vast improvement over the alternatives. Described as a very successful business woman is putting it mildly. So far, she’s kept a low profile and hasn’t appeared to flaunt her wealth. Compared to Tahraysah, Michelle O’, and Bill – we’ll keep Cindy.

While up North I bought some beer from Austria that only came in a liter bottle, and for the life of me I’ve forgotten the name. Does any beer lover here by chance recall it name?

I like beer and have had only one Lone Star in my life. I thought it tasted like piss fermented in used straw must taste.

If you have to drink Lone Star, you’re better off drinking water.

It’s not too hard. I know of a few restaurants/bars that actually sell the cans real cheep. Plus Lone Star and Keystone Light are staples at the colleges near where I live.

They also have Shiner Blonde, Kolsch and my favorite Shiner Black Label. The Spoetzl Brewery has been brewing beer in Shiner, Texas since 1909.

Good plan, it is hard to find anyone even here in Texas that still drinks Lone Star. Just as bad as Bud if not worse.

I worked for a branch of A-B for several years. I liked working for them, and I had a couple of friends on the Clydesdale hitch, so playing with the big horsies was fun.

We received a case of beer per month, which we mostly either gave away or used for cooking. The company newsletter always had beer recipes, and yes, as it turns out, many dishes do taste better with beer added.

Like everyone else, we just buy Shiner.
