When I was in jazz band in high school, we played at a prison for the inmates. The band played this song without the instructor knowing we were going to. She was very pissed when we left. The inmates loved it though.

I’ve read some really sad things about these prisoners, that they are forced to dance, they’re beaten if they don’t, that it is an amusement for the warden, they sometimes have to practice for 20 hours. I don’t know how much of it is true or just rumor, but it ruined the entertainment value for me.
