For the second time in three days, I say unto you: Now it’s personal.
Well, no, actually, it’s no big deal, although Hotline inexplicably seems to think that it is. Exit question one: Is the Gipper really the guy Her Majesty wants to be aping right now, when she’s already seen as a traitor to the left and after she and BJ famously demagogued the hell out of Obama for paying Reagan a lukewarm compliment? And exit question two: From now on she should probably lay off knocking him for stealing lines from people, huh?

Not inexplicably (unless you’re being sarcastic). It’s the press and anything they can push/tout to make Clinton look bad, helps Obama.

Heresy.
Man, is the contrast stark, or what? Reagan was light-years ahead of her in communication skills.
Spirit of 1776 on April 2, 2008 at 11:33 AM
Oh and, via Ace, Obama now leads in…Pennsylvania.
amerpundit on April 2, 2008 at 11:33 AM
I guess this is a joke you can Xerox…
PaulD on April 2, 2008 at 11:38 AM
Her delivery isn’t nearly as good as the Gipper’s. Not that that’s a surprise.
TX Mom on April 2, 2008 at 11:49 AM
The Clintons should stick to the politics of personal destruction…..at least they’re good at that…..

In fairness, isn’t it ok to repeat a joke you didn’t make up?
mikeyboss on April 2, 2008 at 11:52 AM
Ms. Clinton, I knew Ronald Regan, I voted for Ronald Regan.
You ma’am, are no Ronald Regan.
lodestonejames on April 2, 2008 at 11:53 AM
There she goes again.
mymanpotsandpans on April 2, 2008 at 12:00 PM
So what is she saying?
Silky will be her running mate after she gets all of the manure off of him.
fogw on April 2, 2008 at 12:00 PM
Wow, Reagan mopped the floor with her on that one. I can see why people liked Reagan back when I was too young to know who he even was.
Seixon on April 2, 2008 at 12:07 PM
Wow. All the delivery of a broken UPS truck.
I miss Reagan so damned much.
MadisonConservative on April 2, 2008 at 12:14 PM
Well, at least she wasn’t trying to do a sound check. :)
BillH on April 2, 2008 at 12:15 PM
If only. This wasn’t even a good copy.
Can you imagine four years of this person flubbing jokes in that nails-on-blackboard delivery of hers, every bloody day? *shudder*
SECOND LOOK AT GILBERT GOTTFRIED!

She does weddings and bar-mitzvahs, too!
irishspy on April 2, 2008 at 12:19 PM
More like with this much manure there must be a Clinton in there somewhere.
Buttercup on April 2, 2008 at 12:33 PM
Timing is everything. I miss the old Gipper.
ronsfi on April 2, 2008 at 12:36 PM
She is a slug, just like her good for nothing lecher husband.
Zorro on April 2, 2008 at 12:52 PM
That crowd must be paid to sit there and be exposed to this horse sh*t.
leftnomore on April 2, 2008 at 12:54 PM

ugh
max1 on April 2, 2008 at 1:15 PM
That was awful. This woman needs to shut the hell up. Hey Hillary: Stick to crying and dodging bullets and leave the jokes to the professionals.
HawaiiLwyr on April 2, 2008 at 1:16 PM
Hillary Rodham Anti Christ…absolutely shameless!
Socialist, Liar, Purjurer and Plagerist…

Hillary Clinton voted against the Partial Birth Abortion Ban.
Hillary Clinton voted against the confirmation of Chief Justice John Roberts.
Hillary Clinton voted against the confirmation of Justice Samuel Alito.
WWRD?
(What Would Reagan Do?)
Red Pill on April 2, 2008 at 2:16 PM
She used twice maybe four times the words and time that Reagan used. She is so weak, so weak.
That’s why Reagan was the great communicator, not only what he said, but how he said it, in the fewest words.
This bimbo isn’t fit to iron his shirts…
right2bright on April 2, 2008 at 2:36 PM
I don’t care that she stole the joke. What is fascinating is how terrible she is at telling a joke. Of course, being juxtaposed with Reagan is a tad bit unfair.
Bill C on April 2, 2008 at 2:39 PM
ROFLMAO!!
Califemme on April 2, 2008 at 2:49 PM
Humor she can Xerox?
Amy Proctor on April 2, 2008 at 3:12 PM
I’m waiting to hear her say about Obama, “I refuse for political purposes to make an issue in this campaign of my opponent’s youth and inexperience.” (great Reagan line from 1984 debate against Walter Mondale who said Reagan was too old to serve)
Amy Proctor on April 2, 2008 at 3:14 PM
Ha!
All three: my thoughts exactly.
Someone once asked Demosthenes what the most important element in oratory was. He answered “delivery“. They asked him, “what are the second and third most important things?” He said “delivery and delivery”.
(And that’s one of Bush’s problems, I’m afraid…)
Tzetzes on April 2, 2008 at 3:19 PM
Ha! Perfect!
(…A Clinton hiding from sniper fire.)
Tzetzes on April 2, 2008 at 3:20 PM
Reagan never shrieked like that wire-haired man-goblin.
Black Adam on April 2, 2008 at 4:00 PM
