Oh it’s worse than that. We had a rash of pizza guy robberies in my response area so I went to the managers of all the pizza places in my area (Papa John’s, Domino’s, Pizza Hut and some of the independent stores) and gave them the list of apartment complexes where the robberies were taking place and advised them not to deliver to those complexes. Every store took my advice (driver’s safety being paramount to them) except Pizza Hut. Their drivers kept getting robbed and one was even shot.

In my opinion Pizza Hut doesn’t care about their employees, so I haven’t patronized them for years. As a matter of fact, when my brother was thinking about taking a job with them to earn some extra cash and I talked him into going to Domino’s instead — they actually have a list of neighborhoods they won’t deliever to because it isn’t safe.

The Drudge Report unveiled today a story about Hussein Baracks’ past.

Drudge linked to an article published in the Mozambican Daily News claiming that Hussein had full knowledge before his birth that his mother was White and yet he continued growing in her womb until his discharge.

Mr. Hussein, in a press conference today, denied the accusations and says that for over 40 years he didn’t know that his mother was White.

When asked in a press conference about his orders to deploy the Special Forces in Switzerland, Mr. Hussein said that Switzerland is a hostile nation that is building an arsenal of Nuclear Weapons that could threat the Unites States.

You do anything for a living and you do anything to keep you alive.

You do what you have to do and there is so much you can do.

This is America.

Guns are everywhere. Crazy people are everywhere.

How do you protect yourself from crazy people with guns?

Get yourself a gun.

This is America.

It is supposedly a self-controlled, governed by a Constitution, Jungle.

A controlled Jungle is still a Jungle. Anything can happen.

The evil-doer armed and strong devour the innocent defenseless and weak.

You either deal with it and have your own gun to protect yourself or die.

This is America.

Until I read this, Pizza Hut was my fave brand among the “Big 3″.

Since personally I just don’t like Domino’s…well, HELLOOOOO Papajohn’s!

Boycott here I come. I won’t spend my hard-earned cash on some company that fires a dude for protecting his life and dropping an armed robber.

Pizza Hut, are you reading this? You just lost a longtime customer.

Vonnie Walbert, vice president of human resources at Pizza Hut’s corporate offices in Dallas, said last week that employees are not allowed to carry guns “because we believe that that is the safest for everybody.”

Well, it would definitely be safer for those intent on committing armed robbery …

Why do people who talk about laws ignore the ones they don’t like? There’s such a thing as at-will employment; regardless of what you think of it it is still the law.

Perhaps AP might want to look into how many of these employees end up in the hospital or dead each year after “Not resisting” the criminals.

If it’s in your area, Papa John’s is much better.

I am, I lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a little over 31 years before I moved to Oregon in 2002. Like I tried to tell The Chosen One, it doesn’t matter if he had a concealed carry license or not, he was on the clock so he can be fired. I worked for Amana Refrigeration (the appliance company) for almost 10 years. I could have been fired just for having a gun in my car even though it was locked up. I used to go to the gun range quite frequently after work so I’d throw my AR and a bunch of of ammo in the trunk, I just didn’t tell anybody. If they had asked to search my car while it was on company property I could have been fired right then and there and there’s nothing I could have done to fight it, even through the union.

Most of this varies from State to State and City to City. I think that was what was so important about the D.C. Supreme Court Case here recently. We are embarking on new soil. Don’t tell me that all the folks that make Bank Drops after closing shop aren’t on company time, and many of them have carry/conceal licenses. My point about the carpenter could have applied during any part of the day. I don’t believe company policies apply to people who use their own vehicles and who subcontract. Again it’s a locality issue and not across the board, but there is no way that IF I HAVE A LICENSE TO CARRY, that because my employer has a rule that I LEAVE MY PIECE ALL THE WAY BACK AT MY HOUSE AND DISREGARD MY DRIVE IN OR OUT OF WORK. NOT TO MENTION MY ERRANDS!!!!!!
