A cute joke that drags on too long and ends up as a talking point, reflected by the dwindling laughter in the room. She does have a sense of humor but it seemed more genuine when she was up by 30 points, not staring into the abyss and plotting to drag the party in with her.
Obama’s response to Hillary’s challenge? Who’s “Hillary”?

“I’ll even spot him two frames.”
Hillary’s the new straight man of political commentary!

I notice Obama is changing his tune a bit on the “100 year” Iraq comment:

It’s funny. The Obamassiah does work in mysterious ways, because I find myself actually thinking kindly of Hillary.
yikes.

Yes, he’s bringing people together. Against him.

I’m glad I’m not the only one.
Creepy feeling isn’t it?

Dwindling laughter? Those were groans at the end.

P.S. Maybe he’d play better like he didn in college if he had his co . . umm cola, I was going to say cola.
P.P.S. Reminds me of Huck and air hockey.

Are they talking standardizing the lanes, or is it Hillary’s big balls against Obama’s little balls?

Help me - is Obama for, or against NAFTA? If your answer is “it depends on the audience, don’t bother to respond”.
p.s. I thought that Messrs Bush 43/McCain are the devils for being for the “global economy”.

Anyone going to ask if she has 10 pound balls?
Dr.Cwac.Cwac on April 1, 2008 at 3:45 PM
That wasn’t a joke AP. That was an intentional shot at his manhood cloaked in a joke. It wasn’t meant to be funny. It was meant to ridicule and it hit the bulls eye.
TheBigOldDog on April 1, 2008 at 3:49 PM
I’m not sure this qualifies as showing she has a sense of humor - it seems like a pretty wooden reading of some one else’s words to me.
Ann on April 1, 2008 at 3:51 PM
She has no comedic timing.
It was funny for about the first few seconds.

Isn’t it interesting how Obama is concerned about the effects of military spending on our economy. This is the same guy currently sponsoring a Senate bill to give an estimted $1 Trillion U.S. tax dollars to the United Nations over the next 15 years, in order to combat “global poverty.” Spending U.S. tax money to keep Iraq safe is not right for our economy, but pouring a trillion U.S. tax dollars down the corrupt, criminal rat hole that is the U.N. is right for our economy.
Right.
AZCoyote on April 1, 2008 at 3:52 PM
Joe Scarborough and Hillary have something in common. They question Mr. Obama’s manhood and are both losers?
Answer - his manhood is boyhood. And, they are both losers.
Entelechy on April 1, 2008 at 3:54 PM
The “war in Iraq is bad for our economy” meme is the Dem’s way out if Iraq continues to go well. If we lose, we lose (which is good for Dems) and if we win, we lose - because it crippled our economy (which is also good for Dems).
You’ve got to hand it to them. They’ve figured out a way to make the war lose-lose, which is win-win for them.

One of the reasons that so many men can’t stand Hillary is that she always sees herself locked in combat against males. In this sense, she is far different from Nancy Pelosi or Diane Feinstein. These ladies are more liberal than Hillary but they seem likable. Maybe it comes from having real marriages instead of the Clintons’ marriage of convenience. Maybe it comes from not having the bitter anger that Hillary harbors for Bill (nobody is fooled by their phony shows of affection). With Repsentative Pelosi or Senator Feinstein, you get a sense that you could actually like the person despite knowing that they are both hopelessly naive. With Hillary, you can never get that sense. There is a sense with Hillary of a person brimming with anger and resentments and somehow trying to keep all this anger bottled up and contained. That perhaps explains why so many men and women recoil at Hillary’s presence.

That was like a typical SNL skit. One or two chuckles at the beginning but then it just goes on and on with no real punch line.

This is crying out for a video combining clips of Obama and Hillary, the song “Two Tribes” from Frankie Goes to Hollywood, and some clips from “The Big Lebowski,” featuring “Saddam” from the bowling alley.

Hillary has great comedic timing. Every time she opens her mouth, I laugh.

Obama better make sure his pins aren’t glued to the floor.
Of course, it doesn’t really matter if he doesn’t hit them….

Ten minutes of coaching from me and Obama would easily break a 100 and we’ll take your $20. He’s an excellent athlete and that ability translates to sports and games like bowling, golf, tennis, (and others) that require good hand eye co-ordination.

That was funny, good one Hillary.

You know what’s going to be really funny? Watching the media fall back in love with Hillary and lie for her again, if she somehow manages to get the nomination… That’s going to be a real hoot!
TheBigOldDog on April 1, 2008 at 10:44 PM
This is probably a historic statement on my part, but I thought that she did very well until very nearly the end. good speech writers and coaches, but mostly well delivered.
[Since I'm not known on this site, no I do not support her at all, nor do I intend to vote for her or anyone from her party for President, but fair is fair.]
Is there any video of her bowling?
