This is wrong, but too big a subject. But if that’s what you believe, then you won’t mind if China takes over the US and gives your house back to the Native Americans and you are forced to live in the Nevada desert. If that happens, you will not have a “maniacal hatred” of Native Americans, and will not fight back. And if you did fight back, but did not have access to F-16 fighters, you would not use crude weapons, because that would be immoral. Instead, you would quietly accept your situation.

It was Israel’s land before it was the Palestinians. Israel was forced out by the powers of the day, they were allowed back in to a very small portion of the original by the powers of another day.

Absent the maniacal hatred so many Arabs have of the Jews, the issue could be settled with a reasonable amount of pain.
Given the actual hatred that refuses to tolerate a Jewish State under any conditions, the Palestinians and their allies will just continue to fight and lose until Israel finally inflicts a more lasting defeat. At which point, they will have no one to blame but themselves.

Does he really say that Isreal is holding 11 to 9 thousand Palestinian prisioners and then say that the majority of those are from the Palestinian Parliament? Is he even listening to what he is saying or is he just parroting propaganda like some Code Pink wacko?

Call me nuts if you like but I agree with Khaled Meshaal more than Tim Marshall. The “Palestinians” have not lost. Far from it.

That is correct and Marshalls arguments about the 1948, 1967, and 1973 are the exact arguments used by Islamist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah against the PLO and other Arab governments. They believe that only Islamist movements can defeat Israel, not “secular” movements like the PLO and Ba’athists. And Israel proved them right in 2000 in Lebanon and in 2005 in Gaza.

The were supposed to be nine guards at the Tomb of the Patriarch. Four didn’t show up for work that day, so there were only five. According to Israel, even if all 9 were there “it would been almost impossible to thwart the intention of any lunatic murderer.”
So nearly half the guards did not show up that day, and the other five armed guards were unable to stop Goldstein. Right.

Palestinians say the guards knew he was coming, and allowed him in. Of course, those dirty Arabs are lying.

The Goldstein massacre is the incident that initiated suicide bombing by Hamas. That and 25 years of occupation. The first Hamas suicide bombing happened 40 days after the Goldstein massacre. Forty days was the period of mourning. It was announced that 5 bombings would be committed as retaliation. After two attacks, Israel accelerated its withdrawal from Gaza under Oslo, which up until then they were continually delaying. Because of Israel’s positive response, Hamas stopped their retaliation at 2, instead of the promised 5. They dirty Arabs responded to Israel’s positive actions by stopping their bombings.

Yes, I realize more suicide bombings have happened since. The bombings happen in coordinated campaigns. The first campaign in response to the Goldstein massacre stopped at 2.

We’ve done too much for the Iraqis twice (they didn’t deserve it). Israel on the other hand could be as technically useful as Japan and the UK in development of missile defense, and other weapon systems, not to mention anti-terror tactics and strategy.

Successive US Presidents become paralyzed “from day one” when he is first briefed on the insanity of Pali society. They never just cut them of. We keep sending them money. Fearing that the other Arab states will start sending money (a spigot impossible to close) they simply try to avoid the unavoidable.

That’s a little unfair. Although Goldstein’s rampage of innocents was unforgivable, many believe that he was prompted by having to treat, as a physician, victims of Palestinian terror. Arafat and Hamas regularly gave weaker reasons for killing greater numbers of Jewish innocents, which is to say that none of them were justified and all are murderers. But all were prompted by something other than vague feelings of social rejection.

It is unfair. What Goldstein did was wrong, however, he viewed his actions as a preemptive strike to prevent an attack on Jews. In the days before the attack Goldstein, a surgeon, was told by IDF officers to prepare emergency facilities for an expected attack against Jews on Purim. The day before his attack Goldstein was praying at the Jewish section at the Cave of the Patriarchs when Arabs from the Mosque on the site attempted to storm into the Jewish section while chanting “kill the Jews.” Believing that the next day the people at this mosque were going to attack Jews in the area Goldstein came and shot up the mosque killing 29 people; and causing the IDF to go on a security alert throughout Israel and the territories. Supporters of Goldstein believed he prevented an attack that day, possibly against his own children, family, and friends whom lived in the area. However, his actions also led to the deaths of many Jews killed in retaliation for his actions.
