Forgot to add that, of course, any POTUS’s job is to represent the entire country. But when people vote the vote based on what they believe is the most important thing to focus on, not on what the entire nation in agregate believes is most important.

Well, from a historical standpoint, that would be the Republican candidate. And Obama is nowhere near an average black American let alone an average American living in a million dollar home with a wife making $325,000 per year.

Listen, I am a black American (a less stupid lable than Big John’s “blacks”, to which I was replying, because at least it indicates reference to a human being) who will most likely vote for McCain too. But, just like with NTWR, you didn’t answer the quesetion I asked.

People act like its some kind of surprising and disgusting fact that a high percentage of black Americans are voting for Obama. I find nothing at all shocking about it.

Carve out any group of people and the majority of them will vote for the candidate they perceive serves their best interest.

Is it any shock that a large majority of black people would perceive Obama to be their best choice out of the three remaining? (especially considering some of the comments made bill President Clinton throughout the campaign?)

Well, speaking as a black American (a really stupid label), out of those three lame choices, it would be McCain by default.My parents didn’t teach me nor my brother anything other than personal responsibility.I was not taught to embrace the baggage that Barry is trying to assign to everyone. I was not taught that I am doomed to be a step behind b/c of my skin color, and I won’t ever pretend that I was.

Bball is a sport wherein Obama is supposed to have some skills. I haven’t seen any ankle breaking crossovers, but he looks at home on the court.
