Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld are evil, mean, despicalbe liars when filtered through the MSM. In private or in person they are personable, forthcoming, honest, and likable when presented directly in speeches, interviews, one-on-one meetings.

Obama, HIllary, and Bill however, are the opposite. When seen through the MSM they are likable, speak truth-to-power, and care about the little guy. When the curtain comes down however, we see a different side to them with respect to lies, cover-ups, and even anger (violent or verbal).

Sometimes it is difficult to see the truth. Fortunately, time seems to have a knack for exposing things for what they are and seeing people for their true character. Hopefully, enough Americans will see through the fog before it is too late. (Unfortunately, McCain seems to be cast more in the mold of the liberal personna of Clinton/Obama than Bush/Cheney/Rove.)

That is just sad — I blame the schools, we clearly aren’t putting enough money in the schools. The protesters of the past are the professors and teachers of today. You know they are doing their best to pass on their knowledge. So it has to be a money thing.

I have to disagree with you. While the political climate at today’s universities does contribute to the problem, the real culprits are the parents of these students. My wife and I are proud of both of our college graduate children but if we had found out that they were doing “protests” like the idiots in this video we would have instantly stopped any financial assistance to them while they were in college. I would bet anything that the majority of protesters on college campuses are nothing more than spoiled children who have never had to worry about the consequences of their actions.

Newt Gingrich and the movement he led with his Contract for America is virtually indisputable evidence of Newt’s greatness. He strengthened the party, as did Reagan. Aside from Bush narrowly being elected twice, where is the evidence that Rove has strengthened the party? Is it shamnesty?

Agreed. Where is the evidence of Rove’s supposed magnificence? Does it include the ’06 election returns? Were runaway spending and the shamnesty debacles Rove’s brainchildren?

Even if Rove had nothing to do with the current pathetic state of the GOP and even if he actually took steps to try and prevent it, it would seem that his efforts have failed.

Rove may have gotten Bush elected twice but he’s failed the GOP.

Where does this guy’s mystique come from? Is it a reflexive response that Republicans have developed over the years in defense of Rove and the administration from the unhinged accusations of the left? That’s my best guess, but while the left has vastly overstated Rove’s significance over the years, Republicans have done the same.
