Not only has Wright not apologized for anything, Obama never specifically cited which statements he objected to.

Moreover, to the best of my knowledge, he has never been asked about the church’s guiding principles of B.L.T. or the influence of Malcolm X (who was most certainly not a Christian) on its “theology”.

As far as I can tell, his church is 3/4 Malcolm X and 1/4 M.L.K.

Michael Medved picked up on the same thing. He’s asking callers to correct him if he’s wrong – if there’s an apology by Wright out there, someone should produce it.

The other thing I found amazing was the false analogy he proposed (paraphrasing: “If someone took the five stupidest things you ever said and made a video of it…”) – as though these things were slips of the tongue, or mistakes, instead of very deliberate statements of what this man truly believes. Sadly, the audience of The View is probably stupid enough to accept such an analogy as legitimate.

We’ll be lucky if all this guy is is an empty suit. Personally, I’m beginning to think it’s much worse than that.

He’s starting to sound like John Kerry:
