The national election isn’t the only race to be settled. I live in Pa.
As tempting as it would be to switch and vote for a Dem in the primary, I can’t in all good conscience because there are local races where the GOP candidates need my vote.

Illegal immigration is one of my hot buttons; Lou Barletta of Hazleton is running against one of Murtha’s cronies (Kanjorski). I intend to give Barletta my vote.

May as well tell all those late states to save their money from this date forward. I mean, they don’t matter if a candidate has a clear lead and they don’t matter if two candidates are neck in neck…so again, what’s the point?

(Also an early Hillary exit means the big media outlets no longer have to divide their loyalties between the Obama and Clinton camps. Most are on Barak’s side, but there are still enough Hillary loyalists in key media positions so that an extended battle makes it more likely any new Obama skeletons would get substantial press coverage that would end up helping McCain.)

The nation has a long way to go before it rejects this train of thought– the worst is yet to come.

This democrat nomination will not, can not be decided until after all delegate votes have been counted at the convention, and the counts challenged in court. Then, and only then, will the democrats know who their nominee will be.
