He posted it on his party’s website, but that appears to be down already. This just turned up on LiveLeak; I’m guessing it’s the real deal. Standby.
Update: LiveLeak must be getting hit hard because I can’t get it to load here. If you see copies elsewhere, e-mail the link.
Update: The English version won’t load. Here’s the Dutch.
Update: I’m attempting to download it from LiveLeak. We’ll see what Michelle wants to do. I’m about halfway through watching it and what’s interesting is how familiar so many of the people featured will be to blog readers.
Update: A tipster tells me this is the torrent. I’m not vouching for it. I haven’t downloaded it. Proceed at your own risk.
Update: All right, the torrent worked like a charm. When I first started downloading, there were something like eight people sharing. By the time I was done, it was 61. The movie will be all over the world in hours. Internet fee-vah!
Update: Click the thumbnail to see what the front page of LiveLeak looks like right now. They’re obviously willing to go to the mat to keep this online. Hats off.
Update: LiveLeak speaks:
LiveLeak.com has a strict stance on remaining unbiased and allowing freedom of speech as so far as the law and our rules allow. There was no legal reason to refuse Geert Wilders the right to post his film (Fitna) on LiveLeak.com and it is not our place to censor people based on an emotive response. We in no way endorse Geert Wilders, his views, nor the views expressed within Fitna. To many of us involved in LiveLeak.com some of the messages therein are personally offensive. That being said, our being offended is no reason to deny Mr Wilders the right to have his film seen. Pre-emptive censorship or a discriminatory policy towards freedom of speech are both things we oppose here on LiveLeak.com. A person has a simple, clear choice about whether to view this film. No one is being forced to view it and nor is it being broadcasted on every channel on their television set. If you click on media simply to be annoyed, it is pointless to blame others for your choice.
We do not intend on defending the content of Fitna, only our choice to allow it. Anyone has the full right of reply on LiveLeak.com. Any person or organizations are free to post their opinion and, dependent on said response falling within both the law and our rules, we will afford such responses equal exposure. There are undoubtedly better ways to spark a discussion but this film is now out there and we believe we should all grasp this opportunity to create an open dialogue and discussion on this subject.
Update: At least one Dutch Muslim leader is underwhelmed.

I just watched the English version via the gatesofvienna blogsite. It was good, but in my opinion not nearly as compelling or damning as “What the West Needs to Know About Islam”, which is entirely on youtube.
Sean68 on March 27, 2008 at 6:06 PM
Although I find the subject matter provacative, I can’t imagine why Network Solutions wouldn’t broadcast this. It is not offensive, filled with lies, or obscenities, or even violence. It is, quite simply, a redacted view of what Shari’a type law Islam has forced as a reality on the world. No actual beheadings or gutteral cries from throats filled with blood, no actual stonings of women suspected of adultery, no actual hangings of gays.
Saw I, II and III are much more graphic.
The terror foisted by this false perversion of a religion is much greater than anything this film could attain. I am frankly ashamed that this would be censored in any form by a company claiming to be American.
NTWR on March 27, 2008 at 6:10 PM
Preaching to the choir…
That was exhausting, we all feel the same way, the problem is…the liberals will never see it the way we see it. For some reason, they never quite see Bergs head separated from his body. They never see the woman stoned, the daughter killed…they just don’t see it, I mean really don’t see it.
right2bright on March 27, 2008 at 6:12 PM
If they keep ignoring it, they might see it first hand.
Les in NC on March 27, 2008 at 6:19 PM
Not altogether true. This film will introduce plenty of people to the lessons that are taught here every day. Don’t doubt its influence. Exhibit A:
RushBaby on March 27, 2008 at 6:24 PM
Of course they see it. They just can’t acknowledge it because to do so would be to admit that we right-winged neocon fascist gun-totin’ rednecks were right all along, so they’ll continue to deny it until they lose their heads and/or become irrelevant.
RedWinged Blackbird on March 27, 2008 at 6:30 PM
Not sure what to make of this. I could have done without the decapitation. I was kind of hoping to get through life without having see one of those, even if the camera did fade out in the middle.
There is nothing new here. And that is a problem. For all the terror, the actual instances of terrorist attacks are relatively infrequent (if we compare to say, IRA bombing campaigns in the past). Also there haven’t been any major incidents recently. Which is the way people generally want it. So the danger here is that Wilders will, with some justification, be accused of raking over the coals to try and stir things up.
The principle danger to the West is not sporadic acts of violence, but the inexorable demographic transformation that will take place. It isn’t at all clear how Wilders suggests we stop it. But at the same time it is crystal clear that there is no western government that has either the will or the first idea how to stop it either. And frankly that counts for their electorates, as well. To the power of ten.

Why is this a big deal? anyone with a 5rd grade education already knows this stuff. Islam has been at war with the rest of the world since Mo Mo rode out of the desert 1400 years ago. I saw nothing in the film that was the least bit controversal. This is just simple fact. Have people been so stupidified that this film is news to them?

you want to stop it? easy enforce the laws on the books in the west. Most of the laws of the west are in direct opposition of Islam. by enforcing the law you basically can not have Islam practiced in the West. honor Killings, women abuse, multiple marriages, no interest loans, Shria courts, all are illegal. Loudspeakers blaring muslim payer again illegal for noise levels in most western countries. therefore you use the law that has been formed over 500 years of western civilization and enforce the law. the same stops illegal immigration.

Amazing. I just drove through Bridgeview Ill (95th and Harlem… don’t get down to the southside much anymore, except for work… but thats alot farther east than there). Holy s–t. That’s where the islamic terror front groups are located. EVERYTHING is in arabic.

Uhh, yes. What was it that Marx said? Something about if he had the education system for 4 years he would plant seeds that could never be uprooted? Yeah, that’s what’s happened in the US under the NEA. We should FORCE citizens to watch complete beheadings until it penetrates their thick skulls. This isn’t the Pussycat Dolls, Dora the ExplorER or American Idol. This is our reality, and our children will learn it to a much greater degree than we’ve had to thus far unless we wake up and do something.
NTWR on March 27, 2008 at 6:43 PM
Pull your head from your ass and wake up to reality. It’s no longer about the personal comfort of soft-bodied Americans. REALIZE what’s at stake. UNDERSTAND that this threat is even greater than that of Nazi Germany.

The movie isn’t news to anybody here. But those who won’t see and won’t listen, still won’t. But Fitna is an excellent dhimmy-meter. The difficulties Wilders has had in showing this film tell us much, and it isn’t good.
dhimwit on March 27, 2008 at 6:49 PM
I just watched it. The LiveLeak English version works fine now.
It’s 15 minutes. It tells what we’ve always known all along. It’s not completely telling, not even close. It should serve well to anger the Muslims, though, then I’m sure they’ll ONCE AGAIN show that what is being said/shown about them and their so-called ” Religion of Peace™ ” is all 100% TRUE, while they maim, murder, and destroy in an effort to demonstrate that it isn’t.
SilverStar830 on March 27, 2008 at 6:49 PM
right2bright is right. The liberals don’t see it and I don’t understand that. They have always talked about how scary the religious right is here in this country, yet they see nothing wrong with the radical Islam that we fight???
Say what you will about Bush, but he understands it.

Effective video. No surprises for those of us paying attention.
Reliable source (attributed at the end of the information below) shows statistically how Islamization of the West and the the evenetual global caliphate is taking place under our noses. Unchecked immigration, political correctness, and allowance of sharia law in unassimilated Nuslim communities is destroying Western culture from within. No bullets, bombs, or knives need to be employed.

Right I’ll just ignore the “pulling-head-out-of-ass” schtick for the time being. I’m well aware of the brutality of Muslim terrorists. I just don’t need to see their handiwork on display. And I also think it is disrespectful to the victim (Ken Bigley, I think) to broadcast this and likely to be profoundly disturbing to his relatives. I am well aware of the scale of the threat the west faces without having to see this and it isn’t going to change the mind of anyone who isn’t aware.

Exactly. I watched one on Savage.com. When I described it to my coworkers they asked why I wanted to see something like that. I replied I wanted to know what we were fighting. To say it was heart wrenching and discusting is putting it mildly. Masked men performing an act that most only relate to hollywood films should unite the country to defeat these animals. It speaks volumes when the left blames our policies to justify these actions and to suggest we need a dialog to solve our image issue. I suggest a cruise missle.
Les in NC on March 27, 2008 at 6:58 PM
This is how you stop it.
And this from Hugh Fitzgerald:
Since:
# Islam is a mortal threat to our civilization.
# But we cannot destroy Islam.
# Nor can we democratize Islam.
# Nor can we assimilate Islam.
I believe the only hope we have is to separate ourselves from Islam. We must isolate them so that they are no danger to us.
2Brave2Bscared on March 27, 2008 at 6:59 PM
Yeah, sorry about that comment, that’s why I didn’t quote you directly. It’s not you, it’s the mindset of not wanting to upset ourselves that keeps us blind to the brutality. It’s a tricky rope to walk, as we don’t want to become desensitized, yet we need to understand the gravity. Please understand I’m not directly referring to you. Just a little fired up at the prospect of an Islamic future.
NTWR on March 27, 2008 at 7:02 PM
I think Bush understands radical Islam and jihad. I don’t think he understands the relationship that exists between jihad and Islamization. Jihad violence creates an atmosphere of intimidation in which the subject population is quick to meet the demands of the Islamists. Many of these demands are aimed at weakening the subject population, leaving it more vulnerable to future violence. So jihad expedites Islamization, while Islamization facilitates jihad.
RedWinged Blackbird on March 27, 2008 at 7:03 PM
All the bosses left so I could finally watch it!
Like a lot of others said, anyone who is a regular reader of this site or LGF could have made this same video, or better.
I was expecting more…slightly let down.
Vigilante on March 27, 2008 at 7:04 PM
Those images, strung together, are powerful and hard to watch. For better or for worse, it’s out there now, so let the conversation begin.
As others have said, it’s a film anyone could have made… just string the words of imams together with the actions of their followers, and you have a pretty persuasive argument, though some will say an incomplete one. JihadWatch is much deeper and more informative, but for the sound bite generation, this will probably be more effective. Whether that’s good or bad, I can’t say until tomorrow.

Keli on March 27, 2008 at 7:11 PM
It’s not that I didn’t understand the threat of RADICAL Islam, it’s that I thought there was a difference between “moderate” Islam and “radical” Islam. The most effective thing this video did, for me, was to point out the passages in the Koran that call on Muslims to terrorize.
malan89 on March 27, 2008 at 7:12 PM
Oh good Lord you have to be kidding me, right? Bush not only doesn’t understand it, he’s complacent in making the situation worse. How is a Bush a traitor, let me count the ways:
- This is a man, after all, who said that the “radicals” can’t recruit through ideology, but instead depend upon poverty and lack of education as their means to convince Muslims to wage Jihad.
- This is a man who has openly declared that “Islam is a religion of peace.”
- This is a man who is in bed with the Saudis, a mortal enemy to this country and the West in general.
- This is a man who’s own administration sucks up to and kowtows to Muslim groups any chance they get.
- This is man who, while boldly declaring that we’re “fighting them there so we don’t have to fight them here,” continues to allow Muslims to emigrate to our shores. This is a man who REFUSES to secure our borders.
- This is man who’s real knowledge of Islam is so lacking that he foolishly believes peace between Muslims and Israelis is possible — as long as there’s “open dialogue.”
- This is a man who’s real knowledge of true Islam is so lacking that he’s sacrificed billions of dollars and thousands of lives in effort to achieve the impossible: freedom, liberty, and democracy under the banner of an Islamic state.
And so on and so forth.
George W. Bush doesn’t “understand” anything. And John McCain won’t be any better.
Wake up, people.
2Brave2Bscared on March 27, 2008 at 7:19 PM
You sound like a disgruntled Tancredo supporter. I liked the guy too, but we’re stuck with McCain and we both know he’s better than the alternative.

2Brave2Bscared on March 27, 2008 at 7:27 PM
It’s true though. At least we won’t have to worry about dismantling of our military under McCain. We have proof we’d have to worry abou that with Hillary, and who knows what the heck would happen under Obama.
NTWR on March 27, 2008 at 7:28 PM
I applaud Geert Wilders’ bravey and his concern for his countrymen.
Fitna, is an expression of his beliefs and concerns just as jihad, murder, terror, female genital mutilation are the result of following the Koran.
Fitna, does not expose anything new about Islam. Nor does it expose anything new about muslims or the Koran.
As a Pentecostal, my first and foremost concern for all people is their salvation. Yes, the violence and atrocities the Muslims commit are a grave concern but not nearly as much as seeing so many people wholly given to the idolatry of Islam. Their idolatry is what fuels their hatred, their arrogance, their murderous and destructive rages.
Idolatry is the problem.
The Koran is the means by which the fires of idolatry are stoked to a white hot fire.

Here in the south suburbs of Chicago, Islam is spreading from its festering wound in Bridgview. When a new mosque is proposed, there is a public hearing, but those who oppose it are asked for specific reasons why, and are labeled as racists, bigots, etc.
Atheists here treat Islam as though it is the same as the Unitarian Church, or Presbyterians, just another group of religious weirdos. It’s hard to know how to handle the spread, since killing every Muslim you see seems like bad form.

Jaibones on March 27, 2008 at 8:34 PM
Just watched it. Not as earthshattering or in-depth as I expected or has been hyped. I thought Obsession was a better movie, but the message of both movies and the words of our enemies needs to be replayed over and over so more people understand what we’re up against. Kudos to Wilders and may God protect him and his countrymen.
CP on March 27, 2008 at 8:36 PM
I think the movie was fairly weak in terms of its message. I agree that everything in the movie is banal truth but politically much more precise messages are needed.
However, I think we can all agree on one thing. There’s nothing in this movie that justifies any sort of violent reaction. Anyone who doesn’t unequivocally denounce any violence that will follow and tries to excuse it by the hatefulness of the movie is objectively on the side of evil.

For those of you here worried that this is just “preaching to the choir, and others outside of conservatives won’t see Fitna, there’s another group that needs to be exposed to this, that could be convinced: Libertarians.
I’m a rightwing libertarian. Thus, I feel nice and comfy here at HotAir with my conservative friends. But, the leftwing libertarians that I know are very cynical, and believe that the War on Islamo-Fascism is a farce.
Please, I’m begging my conservative friends, pleading with you all, get very libertarian you know to at least view Fitna.
Go over to Reason.com, or ThirdPartyWatch.com or Liberty Papers or Free Liberal or Nolan Chart or LewRockwell.com or any of the Ron Paul sites. Ask them why it is they haven’t yet posted Fitna? Ask them about the contradictions in their beliefs - in favor of legalizing prostitution, gambling, tolerance on gays, free speech rights, ect… yet aligning themselves with Islamo-Fascists who want to outlaw all of that.
The Liberals are brain dead. Libertarians are not. They are critical thinkers. They can be reached.
Use Fitna to get them to join us in our fight against Radical Islam.

Connie on March 27, 2008 at 8:53 PM
I thought the film was just a prop in making the authorities pee their pants in trying to mollify Islam by shutting down free speech. I was satisfied Wilders had scored his point.
And then here on the eve of Eid-Al-Seethe, this lovely gem mounted in a well crafted setting displayed on velvet! Using Islams words and Islams voices and Islams deeds to cut Islams throat. Perfect.
BL@KBIRD on March 27, 2008 at 8:54 PM
I think it’s more like containment, which was Harry Truman’s (and succeeding Presidents’) response to the threat of Soviet Communism.
I would like to think that the FBI is actively monitoring what’s going on in the mosques and Islamic schools in this country. There is, to be sure, an issue of free speech, and freedom of religion, so there is a fine line to walk. But if these organizations are preaching the violent overthrow of our Constitution, they make themselves fair game.
And the ones that have any connection to Islamist and terrorist groups, like CAIR, should be thrown out of the country forthwith.
MrLynn on March 27, 2008 at 8:55 PM

Of course the point is that the Qur’an is a book which teaches hate and bigotry. It should not be allowed as teaching material for children or in prisons.

Two more in your list you forgot - Kosovo. Anybody who is inane enough to support a Jihad anywhere, particularly against a country like Serbia that has not been working against US interests since Milosevic - doesn’t have a clue about what he’s dealing with wrt Islam.
Other is his proposal to send an envoy to the OIC, which is today’s Warsaw Pact and Axis alliance against us. It pretty much followed the tracks of Karen Hughes’ grovelling to Islam tour of the Mid East.
This has nothing to do with my views on Tancredo. I agree w/ him re: Mecca, but I would have been fine with even Romney winning. Romney, who put Boston mosques under surveillance to monitor for Jihadi activity

Youtube will keep deleting it. Somehow, Google video seems better - I’ve never seen stuff get deleted from Google video

What if they are interested in the non-violent overthrow of the Constitution?
Agree with you there.

I put it on my favorites on my YouTube account. I can’t seem to access it anymore, though.

As we’ve been discussing for weeks, Wilders has already proven his point. The sheer hysteria over whether he was even legally permitted to film such a movie showed the world what pantywaist sissies the Eurocrats are.

I am sticking with the show instead of the manga ( I did cheat to see if Ichigo beat #6). I watched the entire series in about 3 weeks. I’m going to wait until the end of the year and catch up with a string of new episodes.

I finally watched the entire film uninterrupted. We must continue to carry the fight to these fanatics. We must crush them, completely.

Funny girl! Still need an answer from the helpful HA crew!

Anecdote time. I sent the link to my non-political assistant. After he watched it he said he had no idea about all the violence and how it’s mandated in the quran. That little part of the beheading video shocked him. It’s one thing to hear about these things, it’s quite another to actually see the video.
I say again, this film is going to be very effective as an introduction to people who have been ignoring the threat of Islam as hyperbole, or something that can’t possibly affect their comfortable little life.

Thanks for the torrent link Allah. I’ll be seeding it till they take my head…longer if they don’t think to stop Azureus.
blankminde on March 27, 2008 at 9:50 PM
In less then 12 hours over 2 million people have watch it. Great for liveleak, bad for MSM. Without the internet this kind of stuff will not be shown to the general public by the liberal medias.
Tell your friends about it or post it on message boards.
jdun on March 27, 2008 at 9:52 PM
The video isn’t new or groundbreaking in its synopsis of the islamisation of western culture. The images, facts, quotes have been posted either on this site or through links provided by HA members. The video should provide at the least to disinterested parties(the pc world view crowd)that a scimitar knows no friends.
Thanks for the post AP,I’ll be forwarding the link to my southpaw associates,it ought to be interesting tomorrow to see how they spin this at work.

The video shows numerous examples of the indoctrination and brain washing of children…the only way to end that kind of madness going from one generation to the next is a HP to the base of the head. If by crush them completely you mean what I think you mean you are right on track and it is the only way to stop this mental disease called ISLAM!
