I kid you not: Guess where that link takes me: to a page entitled: “Make an Online Contribution.”
So much for straight talk, Mr. Davis. If your link says that I should be able to unsubscribe by clicking on a particular link, then I should not be directed to a page telling me how to donate, unless of course, you are implying that I need to PAY to unsubscribe from your email list (which would, I believe, be illegal).

Ship illegals back to their countries of origin (predominately Mexico)? Yes.
Unless, of course, you are offering to open your home to, oh — 2,000 or so of them! ;-)

Do some research on counties like Catawba and see that our local “republican” officials are spending like Democrats and won’t even implement the 287g program. We have illegals killing babies, drinking and driving, and it is out of control. Many counties are “sanctuary” cities and the country needs to know about it. Heath, Congressman McHenry, Congresswoman Myrick and Foxx are doing a good job, McCain is the Amnesty person on this.

The LORD knows the Republican hierarchy is run by corruptocrats who fantasize about more and more earmarks and sit silently by while Bush secretly pushes for a North American Union, undermines border security by appointing Keystone-Kop characters like Chertoff (DHS) and Mueller (FBI), panders to the Palis, refuses to pardon Ramos and Compean, pleads AGAINST the Second Amendment yet FOR a murdering illegal alien before the Supreme Court, and pledges US$Billions to Africa for AIDS, to Mexico for this and that, and to the big banks to bail them out for their bad investments….

One problem with your self deportation theory. $100 billion dollars (apox. guess) of drug cartel money is being fed to 10′s of thousands of them, underground of course, all cash stuffed into pillows and mattresses. Theres a family of 4 or 5 in mid 20′s down the block. Key issue there in their 20′s. Not one goes to work, while all the amer. citizens here are working 10,12 hour days and 2 jobs and some are still losing their homes and moving. But not this group of illegals,, at least put on a show or something to try and fool us, make it look like your going to work..yet they already know the government isn’t looking and could care less. Once they are here its to late. The cartels hate America and it only makes military sense to undermind the America population with implanting a troublemaking family of illegals on every block of america, also to infect our children with their drugs so ours become castaways, unfit to work, while their anchor brats grab all the jobs, whats left of them that is. Solutions..??? know your enemies, especially when there right in your own back yards..

Heath Shuler is one of the new blue dog democrats that were voted into office in 2006. His district is in western NC’s mountains, which doesn’t have a huge illegal immigration problem. It wouldn’t surprise me if Asheville (in his district) is a sanctuary city, though. Good for Shuler for calling McCain out on this…assuming it’s true of course.

You must not know anything about western NC. We are overrun by illegals and the bad thing is we are the Republican part of the State. Heath won because Charles Taylor switched his vote on CAFTA to give it to BUSH and we the people of the western NC said, “YOUR OUT!”. We will take each one of these clowns out one by one until we bring in some conservatives for the working people. We can have a difference of opinion. Voting for McCain, in and of itself, is not so bad; lesser of two evils and all that, though President McCain might have an easier time pushing amnesty through than Presidents Clinton or Obama.

Saying that an issue is “nuanced” is highly suspect. Especially when said issue is NOT, in fact, nuanced. Illegal immigration is not nuanced. It’s cut-and-dried. It’s black and white. It’s straightforward.

You do not reward people for bad behavior. You do not advocate policies that would exacerbate an already existing problem. A conservative, or Republican, does not advocate rewarding 12-20 million poor, uneducated criminals from a country with a socialist tradition with US citizenship.

I’m missing the nuance.

McCain: Uhm, he looks suspiciously like a Marxist to me.

Restricting political speech is not just wrong, it’s 180 degrees from right, under our Constitution; it also smacks of Marxism, to me.

Advocating pervasive government control of our lives in the name of global warmism smacks of Marxism, to me.

Advocating citizenship for 12-20 million socialists who do NOT care for this country (based on their words and actions: flying the American flag upside-down, the Reconquista, La Raza, MEChA, Aztlan) smacks of Marxism to me.

He has a 65 ACU rating since 2001. This from a very, very red state. He’s a liberal IN SPITE of his constituency, not because of it. If he was the Republican Senator from Massachusetts, it would be understandable. He’s not.

Has any candidate politician suggested repealing McCain-Feingold f$%& term limits and keep it cushy for the incumbants?

Sorry, taxes go up and down, and things recover. Wars are won and lost, and the U.S. recovers. But we lost the 10th Amendment with the “New Deal”, and it never recovered.

Now you want me to willfully and deliberately vote for a candidate who has taken aim at causing more damage to the Constitution and damage another Amendment?

Well, I think you’re going to have to call me more names first. Maybe while calling me names you could make some demands that I get in line or some such.

Or at least explain how McCain-Feingold of 2003 wasn’t unconstituional, or how McCain has changed since then, and since his lawsuit in 2006 trying to force the FEC to regulate “internet speech”, and also since his 2007 Amicus Brief verifying that Political Speech of all types should be regulated near an election.

You know, whichever. I’ll not hold my breath for you explaining how electing a man who damages the First Amendment (and has worked to deepen the damage) to the highest elected office in the land is “good”; but try to make the insults and demands fresh and interesting this time.

When did anyone say anything about illegals getting the vote? And I’ve already stated that McCain/Feingold was lousy. And McCain won’t raise Federal Gas taxes…like Romney wanted to do.
