I can't believe I missed this thread here when it was fresh.

Here is what I posted over at FR when it WAS fresh;
What REALLY happened:

They work for Bill Richardson.

He pays them with some of his Saddam “Oil for food” cash.

They stole the car because theirs broke down, and they didn’t want to be late for work as they are VERY dedicated workers.

They are Rail Runner Workers (Richardson's choo-choo train debacle for those of you unfamiliar with what is likely to be the biggest boondoggle in New Mexico history).

Explosives are for the blasting necessary to make the new grade for the tracks up La Bajada hill. (Steep hill between Albuquerque and Santa Fe)

Pretty simple when you think about it;
Definitely not terrorism.

JihadWatch is now running a contest as to the best non-terrorist explanation as to what 2 Iraqis might do with a bomb, currency and a stolen car

Getting ready for the Democrat national convention?

The currency is for Hillary to buy off as many of the super delegates as she can.

The bomb is to blow up the super delages that she can not buy off.

And the stolen car is for her to make her get away if she loses anyway.

The other set of Bozos is probably enjoying their retirement pay in some resort community.

Aren't these the same bozos who also ruled out terrorism when they noticed that there were a bunch of Muslims taking flying lessons, paying cash for them, sleeping during "landing" class, and turning down the offers for job placement assistance?

Iraqi currency, “explosive device” found in stolen car, terrorism immediately ruled out

Of course they ruled out terrorism. They know what they are doing.

We are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here.

Unless we surrendered over there. We didn't surrender over there did we? That's the only way I can think of that they could get over here from over there.

I really don't think there is any thing to worry about over here.

The FBI is now involved in the theft of a car after it was found in Los Lunas with an explosive device and Iraqi currency inside.

Los Lunas, huh? There's yet another clue: Lunas ... moon ... moon god ... allah ... islam ... connect the dots.

The FBI have been sampling evidence again.

This could easily be some prankster that collects Iraqi currency, and the explosive device was just a coincidence. Doesn't Audi now include explosive devices in their coupe?

Listen, if they pulled over everyone with an explosive device and Iraqi money in the car, it would be choas...c'mon, blowing this way out of proportion, you're telling me no one on this post has that in their car?
The FBI has enough to worry about then this common occurrence. Ha, and someone thinks Iraqi money and explosive devices are used for terrorism...these conspiracy nuts come out of the wood work.
Why would anyone in their RIGHT mind think Iraqi money and explosive device has any correlation? What event has ever happened that would cause people to jump to that conclusion...

According to our contact, the fence-gutting provision that was
put into the omnibus spending bill just before Christmas also
causes the Department of Homeland Security's authority on
constructing new border fencing to expire at the end of this year.

In essence, the sun sets on the border fence on December 31 of
this year! In fact, our contact tells us the bill language
could be interpreted as a prohibition against any fence
construction after December 31 of this year.
The next President -- whether it be Obama or Clinton or
McCain -- will have no clear legal authority to build any
of the border fence at all...

We will have a pro-amnesty president who not only
doesn't want to build the double-layer fence, he or
she legally does not have to!

As a result, this fall’s elections could prove less important for
border security than what you and I do right now to restore the
Secure Fence Act.

Please sign this petition to tell Congress to restore the Secure Fence Act!!!

Are the people protecting us really this clueless or do they just want us to think they are?
FBI agents say that they have ruled out terrorism…
“We don’t know what their intentions were,” said Nuanes.
But they have ruled out terrorism.

What else did they find? A koran with a scrawled map to the White House with a red X and "boom boom goes here allah ackbar" ?

A trail of evidence even Clouseau could follow, perhaps even our FBI and 'intelligence community'.

I'm a tad confused as to why they had Iraqi currency. What use is it?

Almost smells like a set-up...
