Twice as long as it should have been and guaranteed to be the highlight of this pitiful excrescence set to drop on Friday.
The first minute, though? Pure gold.
Update: Everyone realizes this is an impersonator, right?

Something is wrong with this guy. :{
Chakra Hammer on March 26, 2008 at 7:10 PM
I just realized that he is actually crazy.
Dr. Manhattan on March 26, 2008 at 7:10 PM
OK he’s spoofing a movie superhero? I thought he was spoofing Obama! “I can eat planets”! What a great bumper sticker for BO.
RushBaby on March 26, 2008 at 7:11 PM
Wait, holy crap! That was an impersonator!
Dr. Manhattan on March 26, 2008 at 7:11 PM
He’s high as a kite.
imshocked on March 26, 2008 at 7:11 PM
I just noticed it too.. >:}
Wow.. I was feeling sorry for Tom Cruise!
Chakra Hammer on March 26, 2008 at 7:14 PM
He’s really good. He’s got the mannerisms down so cold it’s spooky!
RushBaby on March 26, 2008 at 7:16 PM
Wow. Not far off Cruise’s Scientology video.
amerpundit on March 26, 2008 at 7:17 PM
Yup. He’s freaky good.
Allahpundit on March 26, 2008 at 7:17 PM
Best part of the movie will be the part with the line:
“Tom Cruise is dead!”
opusrex on March 26, 2008 at 7:17 PM
If you shorten it, you’d destroy the authenticity of the spoof. The real Cruise would probably go on far far longer!
highhopes on March 26, 2008 at 7:18 PM
I’ll have what he’s having
Kini on March 26, 2008 at 7:20 PM
Both substances that I know of from experience(from my late teen years) are illegal and addictive.(thankfully, I never got addicted)
Chakra Hammer on March 26, 2008 at 7:29 PM
Did Scientology rot his brain? Or does fame just do this to some people?
flipflop on March 26, 2008 at 7:33 PM
OK, I missed the earlier comment that this was an impersonator. I’ll have to watch it again.
flipflop on March 26, 2008 at 7:34 PM
That guy has Cruise down, even does the creepy manic laughter. If Tom Cruise isn’t heavily medicated, he should be.
trubble on March 26, 2008 at 7:34 PM
Heh…I didn’t even have to tell my wife it was an impersonator…she figured it out right away.
That should tell me something, but I’m not sure what.
flipflop on March 26, 2008 at 7:36 PM
THAT SAYS IT ALL
Jones Zemkophill on March 26, 2008 at 7:49 PM
That’s freakin’ hilarious.
JS on March 26, 2008 at 7:55 PM
The first time I watched it, I was thinking.. “this guy looks to young to be Tom Cruise….” then, in my mind, I was like..”well.. he has a light beard that is covering some of his face, and the shirt is covering his neck.. as to hide the age” trying to convince myself that it was Cruise(even though, I had doubts) LOL
Beyond Belief, get my tinfoil hat. >:D
Chakra Hammer on March 26, 2008 at 7:55 PM
Oh that was quality. I have had far to much enjoyment from Tom Cruise starting this trend. The other spoof done by the Sliders actor was hilarious too, but this was definitely a more accurate impersonation.
TDBURN on March 26, 2008 at 7:58 PM
What a hoot!! He really captures all that is Tom.
USBB on March 26, 2008 at 7:59 PM
WOW! This guy is really good.
thatcher on March 26, 2008 at 8:02 PM
Oh and considering that Cruise’s original was almost 10 minutes long then 2 minutes is nothing.
TDBURN on March 26, 2008 at 8:05 PM
This isn’t the end of this guy. I know funny. This guy is funny. I’m looking forward to his next gig. Perhaps Clooney.
THE CHOSEN ONE on March 26, 2008 at 8:18 PM
looks more like him than sounds like him, imo. *shrug*
Midas on March 26, 2008 at 8:22 PM
This guy is almost perfect. If only his voice were a little more like Tom’s.
mikeyboss on March 26, 2008 at 8:39 PM
Dang, That was great.
TheSitRep on March 26, 2008 at 8:39 PM
wow

Titus Flavius on March 26, 2008 at 8:43 PM
Oh my God, he does Tom perfectly! The laugh, the facial expressions, even his voice, the only thing missing was the jump on the couch!
Tony737 on March 26, 2008 at 8:51 PM
IMO he does sound pretty darn good, esp the laugh. But you’re right, the mannerisms and smile are Just. Perfectly. Amazing.
inviolet on March 26, 2008 at 8:51 PM
GREAT impersonation!
D2Boston on March 26, 2008 at 8:55 PM
Freakin’ awesome.
Splashman on March 26, 2008 at 9:03 PM
That dude was spot freakin’ on.
robblefarian on March 26, 2008 at 9:19 PM
That was so creepy.
sheesh on March 26, 2008 at 9:24 PM
awesome! I see a Tom Cruise movie of the week in this guys future.. if Tom doesn’t have him silenced.
GoodBoy on March 26, 2008 at 9:27 PM
Wow. For the first 30 seconds I thought that was really Cruise. The voice is a little high, but other than that, it’s spot on.
That was hilarious.
Chest_Rockwell on March 26, 2008 at 9:32 PM
Wow, he’s got the eyes down, and the sudden faces changes and the disconnected laugh. Freaky good.
Jaibones on March 26, 2008 at 10:15 PM
Better than you.
labrat on March 26, 2008 at 10:39 PM
Hilarious.
AprilOrit on March 27, 2008 at 12:42 AM
More real then the real…what we all envision Tom to be like.
Hey Tom…this is what we see when we see you.
right2bright on March 27, 2008 at 1:18 AM
wow. that guy did a great job.
29Victor on March 27, 2008 at 1:53 AM
The sad thing about it is, that most of the things that Tom Cruise says about prescription drug use are true. Some doctors want to put children on Ridlin. whose only sin is that they look out of the window or that they cannot sit still. These are the actions of any normal child.
Johan Klaus on March 27, 2008 at 2:04 AM
Yes, as Michael Savage says, Ridlin was invented to cure the “disease” of masculinity.
labrat on March 27, 2008 at 3:04 AM
That was Hillary wearing a Tom Cruise mask.
winemkr on March 27, 2008 at 3:16 AM
If you didn’t stay till the end to see him snap out of his somnambulistic daze and pound out the words “There was a farmer had a dog and Bingo was his name-O!” then laugh maniacally (Cruise-ically?), then you missed a good ending.
(Except for the after-effect: Must…get…”Bingo”…to stop…playing..in my…head!)
Captain Scarlet on March 27, 2008 at 3:59 AM
‘K. I have to admit, that was good.
I’m still not shelling out $8 bucks to see Reference Movie, Part One Billion Too Many.
SteakRules on March 27, 2008 at 5:19 AM
Yes, but did Xenu buy it?
srhoades on March 27, 2008 at 9:40 AM
Heh, put him in a robe and a white room, that would be a fitting setting.
I eat planets. Classic.
