I’m Jewish and this question – how Jews can vote for Democrats – still puzzles me. I think that it comes down to tradition (not to be too “Fiddler on the Roof” about it). Jew’s parents and grandparents all voted for Dems since FDR and Truman, and we have always been very active and informed in politics and current events. For many Jews, voting for a Republican would be like turning their backs on their family tradition. Unfortunately, this is an emotional response devoid of reason. The good news is there has been some movement towards the right amongst Jews – logic will prevail it just takes time to break these traditions.

Me too. I have cousins who vote straight down the Dhimocratic ticket. I try to educate them that Israel’s best friend is the Conservative movement and the GOP. They just don’t get it. Invariably, they point to people like Pat Buchanan thinking that one person’s views are the same as the views of the entire Conservative movement. If I still talked to these relatives, I would point to “Reverand” Wright and McPeak. I’m sure these particular people are absolutely gushing about B. HUSSEIN Obama.

For some reason they can never remember it was Nixon who sent military hardware to Israel when she was under attack in October 1973 during the Yom Kippor War.

In college I became friendly with a number of Israelis and after a few minutes talking to one, she was so excited she met an American Jew who wasn’t a communist. She and her husband lived in Brookline, very liberal, and were tired of being lectured by their neighbors who had never been to Israel and never wore a uniform.

Is there any understanding why these ordinarily intelligent people can’t see straight when it comes to politics?

Also, I would deny that Obaama gives generously to his church. He is a royal cheepskate. I think his giving amounts to one half of one percent of his net income. Wasn’t he in church on those days when his Pastor talked about a Tithe being 10 per cent???????

You have to be something of a genius to make general in the Air Force. However, aside from Ike, the top generals have not made very good politicians. MacArthur got shot down as a presidential candidate before he could take off. Curtis LeMay ran with George Wallace, the segregationist. Wesley Clark gets behind John “Genghis Khan” Kerry, slanderer of the GIs. Now, McPeak backs Obama, a smooth-talking far leftist.

I wonder if these generals get up there in that command bubble where nobody disagrees with them and they are always right, always deferred to, and these crazy politics detached from reality takes hold of their minds like mold in a building where the air is constantly recirculated with no fresh air brought in from outside.

The bankers? The ad wizards? The accountants? Maybe’s General Clark was talking about the insurance people. They won’t issue an insurance policy on any of the Democrat foreign policy initiatives?

I so wish Clark was running again. Maybe we could get Albanian terrorists introducing him on stage rather than just handing Clark campaign checks on video tape.

Did McPeak not get the memo? According to (fellow douchebag) Weaselly Clark, he’s supposed to call them “New York money people”.

No…no thanks to him for serving himself instead of his country. He did incalculable damage to the Air Force…more than any enemy ever did to us in battle.

The campaign has already put a muzzle on Michelle Obama after her ‘first time pride’ comments caused such a sti,r but that doesn’t stop old Michelle material (that I’ve never seen at least) from popping up to nip at Obama’…

I must tell you that Israel was the closest ally to the White Supremacists of South Africa. In fact, South Africa allowed Israel to test its nuclear weapons in the ocean off South Africa. The Israelis were given a blank check: they could test whenever they desired and did not even have to ask permission. Both worked on an ethnic bomb that kills Blacks and Arabs.

Arabs have always supported the dismantling of this racist government. In 1962, African-Arab Sudan granted Mandela a passport to travel with to gain international support in his struggle to free his people. Libya, among other Arab states, provided Mandela and other African liberation movements, political as well as material support. As a result, Libya was designated by the White House as a terrorist rogue state. What a great honor!

A few days ago, Amnesty International’s annual report was released. The report slams Israel’s conduct in the occupied territories. It documents some of the “serious human rights abuses” Israel commits daily. It also spoke of the “war crimes” that Israel had committed in Lebanon.

Arnold Toynbee, the world renowned historian, stated that what the Zionist Jews did to the Palestinians is worse than what the Nazis did to the Jews, because, as he stated, Jews should have learned from their tragic experience.

Do we see a pattern? Former generals with a few balloons short of a happy birthday supporting Democrats? Hmm…
