In defense of typhosentra, we must not forget that we are all here reading AP, Ed and Michelle at HotAir because the MSM is completely derelict in their duties to our country. If not for that central fact, we would not even need HotAir.
This story belongs in the national media, but even if it was picked up by them, the moral equivalence between Gaven and the one mentioned by Kralizec — http://hotair.com/archives/2008/02/15/horrendous-al-qaeda-in-iraq-burns-prisoners-alive/ — would be immediate among the “Berkelier than thou.” So snark and sarcasm must be part and parcel of all this because in a real sense we are in permanent opposition to the liberal progressive dominance of our culture, until things make a miraculous turn for the better, more patriotic and mature.
Really, HotAir is equal time just like Rush et. al. Too bad we need you, but thank God you’re here.
