For some unknown reason good olde HA doesn’t archive everything we post…?

“There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare. Thus, what is of supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy’s strategy.

Where was Holy Joe when the Saint spoke out?
I said before "Mc's gotta keep Joe close"!

If we wish to fight, the enemy can be forced to an engagement even though he be sheltered behind a high rampart and a deep ditch. [Green Zone, anyone?]

All we need do is attack some other place that he will be obliged to relieve. [Roadside bombs and IEDs]
-Sun Tzu; Weak points and strong.

Actually yesterday someone laid 7 or 8 or more rounds of indirect fire into the Green Zone. Smoke could be seen rising from miles away.

How can you say that you agree with Obama Bin Laden and win the Presidency?

I guess some of you critcal conservatives are too dense to recognize parody when you see it. Besides McCains comment is tied to his later statement that the major parties in the conflict understanding that Iraq is the central and critical area in the struggle between radical Islam and the west. Sorry that I have to explain that to you.

I couldn't agree more. Let me know if you figure out a way to prosecute a war without offending the sensibilities of the people we're protecting so we can do that.

Fallaci had plenty to say in The Force of Reason of how the Blacks (the former Mussolini fascists), the Reds (the Communists), and the Lefty-liberal-multi-culti rainbow crowd have led to the creation of Eurabia. The invasion of Muslim illegals guaranteed social support/welfare and even voting rights, as well as enclaves within towns with their own sharia law, have allowed cells to flourish.

Muslim fascism intends to maintain its hegemony both by the sword and the battlefield, in addition to through exploitation of weaknesses in open, free societies through the naivete of the can't-we-all-get-along crowd.

Quote of the Day:

March 25, 2008

My Favorite 40 Bloggers For 2008 (Version 1.0)

It's time for me to rank my favorite blogs for the 1st quarter of 2007.

Do keep in mind that as the quarter has progressed, some blogs have, of course, moved up and others have dropped, based on how often I visit them, how much I like what I see when I get there, how often the blogs are updated, etc., etc. Also, as per usual, do keep in mind that this sort of list changes frequently over time based on a variety of factors. So if a blog didn't get included, it's no big deal -- it could be on the list next time. Let me also add that there are some very good blogs that I read almost daily, that didn't make the list.

Here's the list:

Honorable Mentions: BitsBlog, Blackfive, Blogs For Victory, Bluey Blog, Confederate Yankee, Daimnation!, Grand Old Partisan, Jihad Watch, Liberty Pundit, Little Miss Attila, Mary Katharine Ham's Blog, Pirate's Cove, Polipundit, Riehl World View, Stop The ACLU, The Sundries Shack, Sweeetness & Light

40) Ankle Biting Pundits
39) Gina Cobb
38) Screw Loose Change
37) Moonbattery
36) Sister Toldjah
35) Knowledge Is Power
34) Hugh Hewitt
33) Iowahawk
32) Don Surber

McCain was being satirical, tongue in cheek.

I think grownups (18 and over) who can pass the DMV test, and who are then supposedly competent enough to register and vote, can figure that out.

OK, let's be clear.

I was being satirical.

McCain was serious.

In fact, few days ago, I said that I do agree with Bin Laden that Iraq is a strategic location to launch attack against the West and the countries of the region.

I was serious when I said that Al-Qaeda will take over once America withdraw from Iraq.

It was not satirical from my part, nor from Bin Laden.

I do agree with McCain about Iraq's position-location-role concerning the war on Islamic terrorism represented by Al-Qaeda.

I was just being satirical in today's message, just to be funny.

I know what satirical and tongue-in-cheek are.

Satirical? Nope.

Tongue-in-cheek? Nope.

Flippant? Yes.

Cutesy? Well he probably thought so anyway, but then at his age ....

Nothing complicated here.

I am pretty sure in some military textbook somewhere, it says 'don't let the enemy dictate where the battlefield is,' or the terms of the battlefield for that matter.

On the other hand, to have your enemy follow you around the muslim world is also a bit of a bad strategy, at some point you want to have them running from you not following you.

American Enterprise Institute has a killer panel on C-Span tonight - they are so good at explaining what is going on over there and why it's important. They have a better basis for their opinions and I wish we saw more of them as guests on prime time shows. I'm investing in Iraqi dinars and not carbon credits, damn it!!

McCain told reporters after his town hall, "General Petraeus and I and Osama bin Laden are in agreement.

That's it.

John McCain just ended his career earlier than expected.

I thought he would wait until November, but I guess the guy is so eager to play Bingo with his fellow Vets here in Florida.

How can you say that you agree with Obama Bin Laden and win the Presidency?

McCain thinks people will not pay attention?

Allahpundit made it the "quote of the day."

I think from now on, John McCain should stick to domestic policy like teen pregnancy and kids having sex with teachers.

What's going on, by the way?

Why so many young female teachers are sexually exploiting and exploring young boys?

I thought that field belonged to some of my Catholic Church's priests.

Seriously, why these young women have their estrogen so high?

Is it Global Warming?

Is it Bush?

Recently, even today in the news, another teacher had sex with a kid. It makes four in a week.

Is this normal?

Is it Florida heat?

Is it Rush Limbaugh?

Is it Drudge?

Again, McCain should shift gears and start working on introducing a law that would impose the neutering of female teachers especially those who range from from age 18 to 50.

Either you neuter these young teachers or you spay the kids.

And much like his statement that American troops could be in Iraq for more than 100 years, this sound bite seems ripe for Democratic criticism.

Uhm...not! They won't touch this with a 10ft pole because they are invested in defeat and admitting Iraq IS key would undermine their already miniscule credibility.
