The third employee, who has not been fired, worked for The Analysis Corporation (TAC), which is headed by John O. Brennan, a former CIA agent who is an adviser to Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign on intelligence and foreign policy.
The TAC employee is the only individual to have accessed both Mr. Obama’s and Mr. McCain’s passport information without proper authorization, a State Department spokesman said. That employee, who was not named, triggered an electronic alarm system, officials familiar with the probe said…
TAC, a McLean-based information firm that has helped the State Department automate the Terrorist Watchlist over the last several years, issued a statement last night that it had been notified earlier in the day that one of its contractors had acted improperly. The firm said it had honored a State Department request not to fire its consultant to help the investigation.
“This individual’s actions were taken without the knowledge or direction of anyone at TAC and are wholly inconsistent with our professional and ethical standards,” the company wrote.
Eh. I mocked the left and Team Barry for hyperventilating over this on Thursday night so I won’t respond in kind. Brennan used to be head of the NCTC; if he’s burning to learn McCain’s social security number, surely he knows ways of getting it that don’t leave fingerprints and don’t involve unreliable low-level employees. It’s much ado about nothing. Besides, if Obama is the Messiah, doesn’t he already know the number anyway?

I couldn’t agree more but, it’s far more complicated than that. What Bill does is give benefit of the doubt while allowing the story to do the damning. Example, he makes minor excuses for Obama but he keeps showing the video.
His does this sort of thing all the time. He covers the stories few others will even while he professes to ambivalent. He buys himself some cover with his words while he lets the story ang guests do the damage…see?
The other thing to realize is O’Reilly is scared to death of being called a racist. He made a joke on stage at an event in NYC a few years ago that got him branded a racist and since then he’s bent over backwards to “prove” he isn’t.

The video was telling to the extreme. I couldn’t finish it. The mindless bimboes in those crowds…devoid of any logic or thought.
And the comments of Deepak Chopra, also very telling. Definitely “not” an enlightened person and obviously propelled along by some dark, unclean spirit.
On a positive note, this whole Obama experience is of such a great value to our nation. Its like the entire nation now has the opportunity to sit and view, as if in a movie theatre, how bitterness/evil can cloak itself as “an angel of light” and and lead a nation “down” the path to destruction. DD

John O. Brennan. Why does that name jog my memory, but in a bad way? Wasnt he in that crowd that oppposed democracy in Iraq and instead wanted another dictator because it would be easier? Even though that tactic of ours in the past has always come back to bite us.

I don’t think he’s carrying BO’s water at all. He’s been very critical of the Obama camp for not coming on his or any other Fox show. I don’t think he’d ask softball questions but neither do I think he’d ambush him ala MSNBC or CBS. O’Reilly, like any other TV pundit is after ratings. An appearance by any presidential candidate will pretty much guarantee ratings.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. This, in my opinion, is the issue being busily ignored. Even if the “contractor” the work is being farmed out to isn’t a “political hack”, it is still a private firm doing governmental business. with access to confidential records. The government is trusting that the “contractor” will do an appropriate level of background checks on employees, as well as training of employees. It is a misplaced trust, in my opinion.

Accessing Barak Hussein Obama’s passport records seems pointless. Has BHO ever traveled outside the US since age 11? Vacations in Mexico and the Caribbean seem innocuous, and a trip back to Indonesia would seem understandable. But passport records also place the holder in a general location on specific dates.
Let’s look at a conspiracy theory or two:
Wright traveled to Libya, and he wasn’t alone. Further, pro-Palestinian sentiment and rhetoric seems to be surfacing at Wright’s church, and even in past and maybe current BHO words (and a dinner).
Nominally a week in, say, Maztlan is just that, but planes do fly from Mexico City to international destinations, and 4 days is enough time to fly as far as Cairo, meet, and return.. In any event, it’s also more than enough time to meet, in Mexico, Trinidad, Antigua, etc. and Havana isn’t too far away.
This then brings up an interesting bit of conjecture: does John O. Brennan, former CIA agent and adviser to BHO’s presidential campaign, have knowledge that someone fitting BHO’s description is mentioned in a CIA report on some foreign “problems” attending a non-social meeting, and is the passport check an attempt to determine if a link can be made?
My first guess is that this is not related to the campaign; my second guess is that someone just had to check.
