Time Magazine wrote, “Both Clintons have made the case to potential fund-raisers that the U.S. will probably suffer a terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11 after the next President is sworn in — and that Hillary is the only Democratic candidate capable of handling such a crisis because of her Senate Armed Services Committee tenure and her years in the White House.”

What a load of crap. The Donks tried to blame Bush for 9/11, even though Billary had 6+ years after the first WTC. So they WON’T be to blame if we do get another attack?

How do these people keep a straight face? How do they sleep at night? And what about their supporters?

Just the fact that Hillary and Obamessiah are candidates spells DOOM for this country.

And half the country doesn’t care.

These 2 scums of the earth know exactly what it takes to fool people everyday. They know how big a lie they can get away with. They know how to promise everything and deliver nothing and blame someone else and then take credit. Even their friends do not wonder how easily they can lie. Interesting thread regarding manly names.. I grew up in Wyoming and went to the same Hi school as Cheney…NCHS..70 yrs old this yr and Male…..Named after a beloved uncle Gail….Also many stories in my life, but what doesn’t kill you make you stronger. Back to the point about lies…It’s these daily and seemingly harmless ones that do the most damage as they are thought of as a tarnish on character and there are few reasons to expend the energy to correct or confront..Yet, these little fabrications are filed away and continue to pile up in our permanent memories..These are the ones we use to define the most egregious perpetrators, such as the Clintons..These lies do more damage than making a disastrous decision or an error in judgment which can be forgiven.. Not so with the “little white lie” (no pun, given the environment…intended)

I once asked my Mom “how can a boy (in the era of John Wayne) be named Kim and not get in a fist fight at least once a week”. My parents couldn’t understand why I kept getting into trouble for fighting at school.

BJ Clinton also seems to be lying about the numbers of retired generals and admirals. The story says “more generals have endorsed Clinton than both Obama and Republican candidate John McCain.”

Well, a cursory glance at her website, and another at the McCain website shows approximately 30 for Her Royal Clinton, and approximately 100 for Maverick.

How will BJ ‘splain’ that one?

Keemo good to hear it is nothing medical. And believe it or not you just wrote my life story. Right down to the fist fights. I am also a guy and my given name and the one I go buy in “real life” is Lynn. There are a few of us but I have had to defend it my entire life almost like you described your events. Strange thing is my dad named me after a guy who was a shipmate of his on his gunship in WWII. Lynn was not a “man” name in the part of the country I came from. However I think I have done o.k. and am finally putting it behind me. I raised a son who is now a USMC officer. Active duty with two Iraq combat deployments under his belt. I wanted a generic “man” name for him so he got “Matthew”.

I had the misfortune of being a guy with the name of Kim. My father was off doing war when I was born; I was supposed to be a girl, and my parents only had the name of Kimberly picked out. My Mom (afraid to risk naming me without my fathers permission) upon having the task of naming me, simply dropped the berly and stuck me with the name Kim. By the time I reached high school, I already had my nose broken (7) times from defending my manhood with such a name. By the time I reached the age where I could play team sports, my coaches knew I needed a nickname; therefore the Keemo tag was created to prevent me from fighting with my team mates. In that era, there was a television show on called “the lone ranger” if my memory serves me well; one of the leading characters in that show was called kimo-sabe (spelling?). I always assumed that my coaches named me after this character. To this day, my family members refer to me as Keemo rather than Kim. My workmates refer to me as Kimmer rather than Keemo; not that I ever got over being named Kim. Almost nobody in my life refers to me as Kim. Think I have any issues???? (:
