Video: So, Bill, how’d Hillary take the news that you’re endorsing Obama?
posted at 8:15 pm on March 21, 2008 by Allahpundit
Seven-plus minutes of back-slapping boilerplate, but skip ahead to 4:00 or so and picture Sissy Spacek. Quite the betrayal. Quite the glorious, glorious betrayal.
Sounds like Ed thinks we have a potential ticket in the making here. I hew to the KP/Limbaugh line that two minorities on the ballot might be a tad too much “change” to be viable with some independents. Especially in light of those poll numbers today.

What a joke! Two children adoring one another. So touchy-feely I just may cry. There is no leadership ability in either one of those two. Amazing how ignorant much of America really is.

A little intense, a little heated. Heh, I bet!
As an aside, Obama shouldn’t sit next to a bearded Richardson. Richardson looks major alpha male and Obama looks like a youthful beta.

I think Ellen DeGeneris has most of the qualities Obama needs in a Dem. VP.
JiangxiDad on March 21, 2008 at 8:23 PM
It could be worse. Juan Hernandez could be sitting in Richardson’s place. Unfortunately for him, McCain already has a grip on Juan. Isn’t this so depressing?

Operation Chaos in full swing… We are watching the “slow death” of a truly mean and nasty woman. We are watching the mask get peeled off the Democrat Party one layer at a time; slowly now, don’t want this soap opera to end quickly…
Watching this unfold truly gives hope to the old saying “what goes around comes around”…

profitsbeard nailed it the other night, when he referenced Eugen Ionescu (one of my few noteworthey compatriots), the master of the Theater of the Absurd. The liberals are providing plenty.

Richardson’s not so dumb. He grew his hair and goatee/beard out, exchanged his white shirt for working man’s checks, and attaches himself to the Dem’s 2008 Pres. nominee. He knows Obama’s not gonna win. But what was he supposed to do, stick with that loser Hillary? He’s setting himself up for 2012. Not dumb at all.

Obama is going to undo the “damage” that George Bush has done in foreign policy??? Right, Obama. You appear to be conspicuously absent from your European Subcommittee on the Foreign Relations Committee. You haven’t convened yet as far as the Congress knows. (I guess that Obama isn’t aware of the renewed engagement that France and Germany have with our goals vis a vis Islamoterrorism.)

So how is it all going to end ? Will there be opposing gangs of thugs in the streets of Denver flinging rocks or molotovs at each other ? What happens if Bush has to nationalize the Colorado National Guard to put down the insurrection ? Will Hillary be on national television at 3:00 a.m. demanding that the President stop interfering in internal Donk party politics ? This has the potential of making 1968 look like child’s play.

The Republican party has been focused on identity politics since the inception of the 08 campaign. We are muddy with the filth.
We would have done very well to leave this crap to the Dems. Because as bad as they are, we always seem to make ourselves look worse.
Is it possible for Republicans to express themselves without sounding like Bl@ckbird or other resident bigots?
I think our tonedeafness on issues of culture and race will cost us now and in the future. After this election, the black electorate will be more fully engaged, as will Hispanics. We need a true representation of our minority numbers to be reflected at the polls or we will struggle as a party forever.
As long as we must fight to increase our numbers, we cannot consolidate and solidify a STRONG Republican platform. The current wave of right-lite policies and posturing is damaging. We are running like moderates because we need to pander to the middle in order to win.
Drop the incendiary, race-baiting and focus on real Republican values and ideals.
