I’m not sure what’s more sad – that you waste your life scolding Morrissey for being annoyed about Fox spending 2 hours on one line; or that you then tell him to “get a life” when yours is so obviously lacking. Yes, a bunch of other news networks were doing exactly the same thing; should we applaud the MSM because all of them chose not to report actual news for 2 hours, instead of just Fox doing so? Why does Chris Wallace’s idiocy somehow implicate Ed?

While I appreciate knowing more about Obama and his relationship with his psycho pastor, I do think a two hour break-down is too much. I have a brain, just give me the info, and let me figure out what it means.

That’s the problem with Fox, they assume their viewers are guillible, stupid and easily manipulated. Kind of like the way Talk Radio does, they expect people to listen, pile on and march in lockstep, or else.

I disagree with Wallace, and I disagree with the classless way he went after his fellow co-workers. If he had a point he could have made it using criticism of the media as a whole rather than ambusing his own co-workers. Very tacky.

Yeah. In Malcolm X’s autobiography, it was told that the phrase “chickens come home to roost” was used by him in the wake of JFK’s assassination. So Wright was just following ideological suit by employing the saying.

The irony of this is that the NOI used those comments as reason to boot Malcolm from the organization. The real reason was that M. knew too much about its founder.

After a few hours of taking Obama’s “typical white person” quote and cutting it off—giving it the Hannity/FOX treatment, even Chris Wallace had enough and called FOX & Friends out on it. Now, being kind of cynical about FOX, I wonder if Wallace is speaking out because he’s been crying that Obama won’t go on FNS.”

That is my take on it.

When the comments are getting out of control(ie: FDT days) I just quit commenting for awhile. No announcement needed. Not that anyone pays attention as my posts are usually incoherent drivel.

It’s interesting to watch how these tv people react to people who they are instructed to see as important within their little office hierarchies.

Almost everyone I hear on television is bubbling like a lovestruck teenager over Obama’s speech. We have a few commentators on Fox willing to take him on and Wallace shafts them. I come to Hot Air and hear he did the right thing? wtf?

An acid head? And you know this how? Just saying.

That is a little more information than I wanted to know.

If Obama were a white man who attended a white-supremacist church and claimed that his “racist” grandmother was a “typical black woman”, not only would he no longer be a Presidential candidate, he would have be drummed out of the Senate. So why does this bigot get a pass to continue on the campaign trail?!

Late to the dance, but I have a bone to pick, here, davenp35. I don’t think it’s accurate to call Trinity a black-supremecist church (that is what you’re saying, right?). A black victimhood church, a race hustler minister, maybe even a black separatist church, sure.

But underneath these loud, whining race speeches, it always seems like an inferiority complex, much moreso than a supremecy thing. It’s kind of pathetic, really. It’s just fear; Wright’s afraid that whites are better, that whites are in control, that he’s powerless and hopeless.

Sorry to play psychoanalyst – I’m not one. But bluster always seems like fear to me, and he’s all bluster.

The part about “typical white person” that I don’t get is: what would Obama know about it? He knows Grandma. But if the rest of his speech holds any particular insights, then the only other whites he even comes in contact with are leftists and sycophants. He’s just as ignorant about race as anyone else, since he declared himself to be just a black guy at whatever point.
