I guess, Obama did not attend that class, like ‘Wild Bill’ who “did not have sex with that lady” or “did not inhale”. Let’s just call a spade a spade as Obama has demanded.

The Fox poll shows that McCain holds the Republican base (82%) better than Clinton (75%) or Obama (70%) holds the Democrat base, and McCain wins Independent voters 47-31 against Clinton and 45-37 against Obama.

Most of the Rasmussen polls show that the electorate is about 37% Democrat and 31% Republican. If the internals of the Fox poll (fractions of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents voting for each candidate) are applied to a more balanced sample of 37%D, 31% R, and 32% I, McCain would lead Clinton by 46-42, and Obama by 46-41.

Once we sift through internals and correct for the skewed sample, this poll looks good for McCain, regardless of his opponent. It also looks good for Mark Twain: lies, d@mned lies, and statistics.

I guess you didn’t get my hyperbole. The point was that we really do not know Obama’s true core philosophy, because he is a political opportunist. He might very well be a radical black power type, like his co-religionists. He says he is not, but he was a member of that church and actions speak loader than words. It would not be the first time that a politician hid his true feelings. That is why they call it “political correctness.”

Maybe people are giving funny info to the pollsters?

Maybe they thought crossover voting for Hillary worked so well, and Ralph Nader is a big threat to the Democrats, so…

The news ain’t all bad for Team Barry. Clear majorities say the scandal’s had no effect and they don’t believe he shares Wright’s views (nor do I or most Republicans, for that matter).

Congratulations, “most Republicans!!”

In a perfect world, that is if Hussein wasn’t running for president, we probably would’ve ignored his wife’s hateful comments about America, Hussein’s hateful attitude towards America and his 20-year friend/like uncle/pastor’s hateful sermons about America.

But we are not in a perfect world and Hussein is running for President. So, let’s just talk about him, his wife and his pastor, and let’s pretend everything is hunky dory.

Let’s just say that he’s as innocent as a child. He has no connections and was not influenced at all with his pastor/uncle/friend of 20 years, that he doesn’t share his wife’s views about America.

Yeah, let’s say everything is good and calm on the Hussein front.

It feels good, doesn’t it?

Seriously. I kept thinking there was something wrong with me since I didn’t have the urge to put on a ghost costume or burn crosses on lawns.

When this rhetoric was kept inside select liberal circles, it could be managed. The big loser politically is “the black community.” Nobody wants to hear, or deal with, this stuff at a national level in this day and age.

I’ll take a guess – those 14% are conservatives who have become libertarian and are so disenchanted with the GOP that they can’t support it any longer. However, they still feel compelled to waste their time waiting in line to cast a ballot for symbolic significance, and if you’re going to vote for someone who can’t win, might as well be Nader.

Personally, I won’t be voting in November. According to many of my peers, that means I have no legitimate right to criticize the outcome of the election. Fair enough, just try and stop me. :)

I always lie on surveys. I assumed almost everyone else did too.

Take a closer look at the PA Watercooler numbers:

23% of BO supporters would vote for McCain or sit on their hands;

32% of Hillary! Supporters – almost a full third – would do the same.

Granted, small sample sizes – likely accurate +/- 5% – but, Dude.

Rush’s internicene warfare strategy has worked.

Obama’s approach (wait around for government intervention and continued white guilt) will only perpetuate old style racial politics.

He may have done a good job describing various points of view but does nothing to move us forward… only backwards or standing still…

…his suggestions about the way forward only validate Wright’s views that somebody owes us, America owes us, and the US government has to fix it…

…I think in many ways, therefore, he really does share some core views of Wright and his church (apart from AIDS conspiracies).

Can we now say that Obama will just about say and do anything to get elected?
