There is no myth that “radical” Shiites and Sunni “Jihadists” can not work together. For something to be a myth it has to be popularly believed. It is not popularly believed that they can not ever work together. Ed Morrissey could work together with Markos Moulitsas on something on a tactical case-by-case, but how often do they? If they did, would it be the rule or just the exception?

The vast majority of Shiite Iran’s support has gone to fellow “radical” Shiites, not Sunni “Jihadists” (AQ or AQI). Most support for Sunni “Jihadists” comes from the likes of Saudi Arabians, not Iranians.

This is all a lot like someone arguing that there is a lot of global warming because they can give an example of evidence that there is global warming at a certain couple of locations and just ignore everything else.

McCain? It is the glib-libs that don’t want to face facts – ABOUT ANYTHING!!! 1)Iran funds and supplies AQI – our troops have found countless weapons and explosives taken from AQI MADE IN IRAN
2)Iran is making nukes: The ONLY reason for 3000 centrifuges is to enrich Uranium for bombs.
3)Iran has funded, harbored, and assisted terrorists/groups since 1979.

When a free capaitalist society is confronted by State run and funded “Corporations” they word at a political disadvantage. State run corps will have political, not just business, objecitves… and can be helped by the overall political climate around them…

Chaos in the mideast and South America have driven oil prices to historic hights. Anything which drives up oil prices helps to sustatin the Iranian economy (which is in horrible shape).

Chaos in Iraq is in Iran’s ECONOMIC best interests. If Iraq stabilizes on EITHER side, world oil prices will drop, and Iran’s economy will loose its life preserver.

The Dhimms wish so desperately that 9/11 would just go away, they keep pretending there is no continuation, nothing to worry about now.
I’ve heard libs say 9/11 was a freak of success and it could never happen again. What they refuse to believe is that our Republican government is doing all it can to prevent another attack.
