Video: Mary Katharine Ham on hookers gone wild

I’m tempted to harangue O’Reilly yet again for his speech-squashing tendencies, this time vis-a-vis Juicy Campus, but that meme’s played out and for once he might actually have some ground to stand on. So instead let’s focus on the first segment, in which a young, tanned “Kristen” does the squat-and-grind with a pair of nubile pals. Question: What exactly is the “policing the Internet” angle here? As MKH says, it sounds like Girls Gone Wild is in the clear legally. O’R himself expresses no opinion aside from a bemused chuckle. Am I being cynical to think the whole thing is just an excuse to show the footage? I am, aren’t I? For shame. Exit question: What would Laura Ingraham say?

Look. As Bill would tell Laura, it’s necessary to show these things or else the folks won’t know they’re out there. They SIMPLY WON’T KNOW. And anyway Mary K needs to be put in her place on every specific depravity lest she thinks she and her internet have gotten one past the Tribune of the Folks.
Alex K on March 19, 2008 at 9:34 PM
Yes. Yes, I support this idea.
Allahpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:36 PM
Heheh. Evidently the Folks’ Tribune has taught us nothing.
Alex K on March 19, 2008 at 9:37 PM
Easy, big guy. I’m guessing KP still reads HotAir.
BacaDog on March 19, 2008 at 9:39 PM
I’m thinking maybe it’s time to stop posting these segments. It’s like an unending series devoted to making MKH squirm.
Allahpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:39 PM
I doubt it.
Allahpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:40 PM
It’s too bad that’s what he has Ham doing, cause she’s great on non-stupid subjects as well.
Alex K on March 19, 2008 at 9:41 PM
Incidentally, all I meant is that I think I she should have to defend them, which is what Bill essentially has her on for. Wasn’t suggesting anything untoward. Sorry if there was confusion there.
Allahpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:42 PM
Yea. But she handles him so well. It’s great how she rolls her eyes like she’s humoring a nutty uncle.
BacaDog on March 19, 2008 at 9:43 PM
30 bucks a month I thought it was 9.95? lorien1973 better balance his checkbook.
F15Mech on March 19, 2008 at 9:43 PM
Trouble in, er, paradise Allah? Didn’t she used to be on the Vent & everything?
amerpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:44 PM
She should start making stuff up. He doesn’t know anything about the internet, why not. Like tell him if the government just started licensing modems they’d be able to regulate it like that. Get him started on a modem-licensing crusade.
Alex K on March 19, 2008 at 9:47 PM
Dude, guys, the KP thing was like years ago. Live in the now. HA grows, it changes, only robots and Mary K are constant.
Alex K on March 19, 2008 at 9:48 PM
That’s an awesome idea. See how far you can get him to go. Chips implanted under the skin and keyed to the user’s IP to identify them when they use “hate speech”? Why not?
How soon before his pal Geraldo would be busted? One day? Two?
Allahpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:50 PM
No way! I need my weekly fix of that smile.
WasatchMan on March 19, 2008 at 9:53 PM
Crushes never die! They just rest for awhile.
Allahpundit on March 19, 2008 at 9:53 PM
I’d post something witty, but I gotta get out to juicycampus.com!
tlynch001 on March 19, 2008 at 9:58 PM
Have I been reading this blog -that- long? I’m depressed.
lorien1973 on March 19, 2008 at 10:01 PM
You like O’Reilly’s smile?
Ewwww!
Ohhh, you mean MKH’s smile! Yes, she is radiant as always!
Yakko77 on March 19, 2008 at 10:04 PM
Only if the censors were being honest.
steveegg on March 19, 2008 at 10:05 PM
When did Bill O get to be such an expert on the internet?
KP has been digging deep for BO on H&C lately…

Comment of the Day™
steveegg on March 19, 2008 at 10:06 PM
Because I’m the one handing out the awards today, Comment of the Day™ Part Two.
And like a volcano, one never really knows what retriggers them :-)
steveegg on March 19, 2008 at 10:09 PM
I knew I should’ve started with the top…
Not at all.
Something along the lines of, “What’s with the sexploitation, Bill?”
steveegg on March 19, 2008 at 10:12 PM
They Would not be wearing them. Their superior journalistic credentials render incapable of breaches of integrity. Also, they will be the Judges.
Silly!

O’riley = Idiot
WayWard Fundamentalist Christian on March 19, 2008 at 10:16 PM
Honestly! Where do hookers learn this behavior?
ronsfi on March 19, 2008 at 10:41 PM
Hey, let’s face it…if there’s a lowest common sleeze denominator, it’ll take advantage of the most current technology to disseminate it.
Sad but true.
Bob's Kid on March 19, 2008 at 10:42 PM
I just wish MKH said……. nekkid!
Seven Percent Solution on March 19, 2008 at 11:23 PM
I just watch Ham on the rerun!
Yay!!
Chakra Hammer on March 19, 2008 at 11:56 PM
I love Bill’s show, but… it seems like sometimes he wishes that the government would regulate the media.
doodleduh on March 20, 2008 at 12:15 AM
I guess I have to repeat my ‘Classic O’Reilly,’ every time he’s on Hot Air, so there it is:
Somebody needs to burst the “O’Reilly Bubble.”
The poor guy is so full of himself, every time I accidentally come across Fox News at his time, the TV swells, starts getting very hot and is ready to explode.
1 - O’Reilly is so full of himself, he invented the 11th commandment:
Thou Shalt Worship Bill O’Reilly with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your being.
2 - O’Reilly is so full of himself, he thinks the Earth rotates around itself because he said so.
3 - O’Reilly is so full of himself, he thanks himself everyday for creating himself.
4 - O’Reilly is so full of himself, he thinks the Bible mentioned his second coming.
5 - O’Reilly is so full of himself, he thinks he is the First person of the Trinity: O’Reilly, Son and Holy Spirit.
Indy Conservative on March 20, 2008 at 12:18 AM
It’s part of his show. Rush Limbaugh acts full of himself too. He constantly brags about being the man who runs America, the Doctor of Democracy, etc. It’s part of what makes their shows sucessful.
doodleduh on March 20, 2008 at 12:23 AM
I love that I got a shout out again to rant about how beautiful Laura is.
I will calm down now.
William Amos on March 20, 2008 at 12:26 AM
Dude…….. we get it, you have a man crush on O’Reilly, try to move on…. but if you can’t, I think I can speak for the group, we are here for you.
Seven Percent Solution on March 20, 2008 at 12:39 AM
And why do I have to pay the bill for buying a new radio and TV set?
Their arrogance is beyond what my electronics can bear.
Indy Conservative on March 20, 2008 at 12:41 AM
Accidentally, do you guys have here a support group for ‘Camel Urine Drinkers’ like myself?
Indy Conservative on March 20, 2008 at 12:44 AM
Exactly. And she keeps doing it and he never seems to catch on. Her cheerfulness and affability throw him off. Never fails.
inviolet on March 20, 2008 at 12:48 AM
I agree: I can’t stand to listen to him…even during the times he is actually making sense.
Bad comparison: Rush is kidding, and O’Reilly is not!!!
The thing that makes Rush so “listener-friendly” is his humor and his attention to his oft-stated primary mission, which is to entertain!
I don’t think anybody ever accused O’Reilly of being entertaining. Obnoxious: yes. Annoying: yes.
So while I can easily listen to 3 hours of Rush, 3 minutes of O’Reilly is way too much!
landlines on March 20, 2008 at 12:54 AM
She cannot disown O’Reilly anymore that she can disown the Fox News Channel.
Yes. Yes, I support this idea, but only in a totally innocent way.
Karl on March 20, 2008 at 1:00 AM
People like Bill amuse me.
“Oh man! Did you see the offensive content at gohereandcheckitout.com!?! Look we have video of some of the offensive content! Look at it! Isn’t it offensive!?!”
/sigh
Benaiah on March 20, 2008 at 1:13 AM
I tend to agree with you on the Rush thing.
Although sometimes I question his judgment on some of the issues, but he is using humor in presenting his case, because Radio is just sound, and sound has to be funny -sometimes- to attract people.
As for Bill O’Reilly, he’s seriously so full of himself to the point of illness, he thinks that he created God.
Indy Conservative on March 20, 2008 at 1:13 AM
“I’m tempted to harangue O’Reilly yet again for his speech-squashing tendencies”
Hey, at least he didn’t use the word ‘obligatory’ for the thousandth time!
Kevin M on March 20, 2008 at 2:13 AM
Every single one you are still missing the point of posting these segments: Mary Katharine Ham. Not only is she intelligent enough to put up with Bill’s bloviating, Miss Ham remains the most lovely lady I have yet to lay eyes on. Keep it up, M. Kat!
Jockolantern on March 20, 2008 at 2:21 AM
MKH is indeed an intelligent lovely young woman. If only she was 10 years older…or if I was 10 years younger for that matter. ;)
Benaiah on March 20, 2008 at 3:44 AM
I don’t care what anyone says! MKH is hotter than “Kristen” any day of the week.
pilamaye on March 20, 2008 at 7:11 AM
I will heartily second that.
Jockolantern on March 20, 2008 at 7:19 AM
All those in favor…AYE!!!
All opposed?
Hearing no opposition, the ayes have it.
steveegg on March 20, 2008 at 8:12 AM
I dunno, I think O’Reilly could’ve been a scribe, back in the day, sayin’ “Hey, we gotta do somethin’ ’bout this Guetenberg guy! There’s too much publishin’ goin’ on wit’ his new machine.” (Sorry spent a lot of time in New York recently).
srhoades on March 20, 2008 at 9:22 AM
MKH resist, resist, resist. Resist Bill’s attempts to change your opinion on free speech. Today fee speech and free speech are getting chummier and closer to equaling censorship
MSGTAS on March 20, 2008 at 9:28 AM
The Hammer’s hotness factor just keeps rising!
Dread Pirate Roberts VI on March 20, 2008 at 10:53 AM
My thoughts on the mark, BO’R is a hypocrite of the worst caliber.
