Quote of the day
posted at 10:30 pm on March 17, 2008 by Allahpundit
“There’s nothing to say to al Qaeda and they’ve got nothing to say to us at the moment, but at some stage you’re going to have to come to a political solution as well as a security solution. And that means you need the ability to talk.”

Sure, let’s talk to Osama. Right after a Hellfir missile visits, we should ask:
“Can you hear me now?????

For the love of pete….
OK, let’s talk to them. Let’s gather up everyone who thinks talking to terrorists is the solution to peace between terrorists and us infidels. Let’s send them as our “peace delegation” to meet with the terrorists to hash this misunderstanding out.
We give our peace delegation guns, just in case they survive and escape the meeting, another Republican no matter how new is not a bad thing.
We’ll get more converts in one day than islam get’s in a month.

Fool – Can we discuss this?
OBL – Sure, just put you head down across this woden chopping block. Streach you neck. Good, good…, now this won’t hurt a bit.
The next thing you’ll hear is Allah Akbar. Are we good with that?

Well I agree, lines of communication should be the most
upmost importance,(smirck and chuckle).
And here’s how lines of communication will work.
The conversion of the SLBM should almost be complete,
taking the nuclear warhead off, putting on the conventional
warhead and lines of communication will be done to 1/2 hr.
striking capability anywhere on the globe by the silent
service, now that should vastly improve “the communication
some are seeking with AQ”!

It took 30 years of back channel negotiations to come to terms with the IRA. I guess that’s not a long time if your working on getting a government pension at the same time.
AQ has declared war on the west and they have killed THOUSANDS of Americans on our own soil.
Take your back channel and stick it were the sun doesn’t shine you EU moron.

Personally I think it is a brilliant idea. Everyone who is against the war can do more than just simply yap on about it ad infinitum. We can send negotiating teams made up of Code Pink-os, Daily Kos-os, Barak Obama-os, San Francisco-os and all the other liberal a-holes. I have a feeling we are gonna need a lot of teams…..

However, Islam in it’s history and even in current times, uses slavery as a means to control infidels. Death is the other choice.

You can’t negotiate with evil. Evil doesn’t compromise, it doesn’t honor agreements, it doesn’t “come to political solutions” or learn to respect your opinions.
People who strap bombs to retarded people and send them to the mall – evil.
People who kidnap aid workers and saw their heads off – evil.
Why is this such a difficult idea to grasp?
Merovign on March 18, 2008 at 1:29 AM
The only talk to al-Qaeda should be a short, final curse over its rotten grave.
profitsbeard on March 18, 2008 at 1:56 AM
Talk?
Islamization, which has declared its goal as the destruction of the West, has spread not only through the sword and threat of terrorism. It has encroached on Western society through naive pacifism, political correctness, and ceding of national laws to the demands of invaders who have breached Europe through massive immigration, much of it illegal.
Oriana Fallaci describe the creation of Eurabia, which has allowed for States within States that are enclaves of Muslims with their own laws, banks, businesses, schools, etc. In her book, The Force of Reason, she provides multiple anecdotes of small towns and pockets of large cities with Muslim communities with their own sharia law that flies in the face of their “host” country’s legal traditions. In each place there are cities within cities, governments within governments.
She attributes this collapse of will to what she likens to the behaviors of collaborators with Hitler, Mussolini, and the Communists. Talk and cultural sensitivity by fearful lawmakers and law enforcers have permitted the creation of societies within societies where polygamy occurs and the population of Muslims increases.
Fallaci describes an interview with Arafat’s… “rival George Habash: the man who carried out the bloodiest terrorists’ attacks in Europe…Habash exsplained to me (Fallaci) that the Arabs’ enemy was not Israel alone; it was the whole West. America. Europe: the West,,,, And now read carefully, please, dont miss a word of what he said.
‘Our revolution is part of the world revolution. It is not confined to the reconquest of Palestine…. The Palestine problem is not an aside problem. A problem separated from the Arab Nation’s realities. Palestinians are part of the Arab Nation. Therefore the entire Arab Nation must go to war against Europe and America.
‘It must unleash a war against the West. And it will. America and Europe don’t know that we Arabs are just at the beginning of the beginning. That the best has yet to come. That from now on there will be no peace for the West.’
“Finally he said: ‘To advance step by step. Millimetre by millimetre. Year after year. Decade after decade. Determined, stubborn, patient. This is our strategy. A strategy that we shall expand throughout the whole planet.’”
Ceding national identity to the EU, assorted Muslim political societies, and UN dicto-crats, the countries of Europe are crumbling from within through talk. Attempts constantly threaten Western culture by wearing down the weak of will. Efforts are underway to rewrite history, ignoring the century’s of bloody hegemony of Islam through pillage and atrocities in the period prior to the Crusades.
Cowardice and talk are allowing this crumbling of the West.
(Sorry for the length of this post, but the book is quite disturbing for the facts and truths that it describes. We ignore Fallaci’s points at our peril.)

Stupid is too meager a word for such thoughts. It is apparent that few people have any clue what a terrorist is never mind AQ. One can only sit down and talk to governments but that is just to complex a thought for some people. For me this is like the mayor of Boston coming out and saying that the best way to stop muggings is to sit down what all the muggers and talk it out and see what it is that they need and want.
jmarcure on March 18, 2008 at 6:35 AM
WRONG! This IS NOT a political problem and there is no political solution. The problem is theological; who is god, and how do you serve him? Jews and Christians hold many beliefs in common, with the Person of Messiah be the glaring exception. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Wiccans, et al, believe differently, and what they believe translates to how they behave. Muslims believe if you do not embrace their religious ideas, they are divinely obligated to either kill you, or enslave you.
oldleprechaun on March 18, 2008 at 7:11 AM
That “you will have to talk to them” is a reflection of the idea that war is politics carried out by other means. But is this really true in the case of terrorism? Do the assumptions of politics–any of the assumptions–actually apply in any way to terrorism?
I think the answer is no, but I’m not sure. And if we are to understand what we are up against, we need to be able to give the answer, whatever it is, with certainty. If we are to convince people, we need an analysis that stands up to reason.
Anyone care to begin it?

Although I like the idea of getting Al Qaeda around a table.
Excuse yourself for lunch and gas the lot of them.
NoDonkey on March 18, 2008 at 8:26 AM
It makes sense.
Problem is, can you change a 15 centuries-old bloody cult?
Because Islam is not just a cult with rites and rituals, it is a political cult.
“Islam is a way of life,” Muslims say.
Bin Laden and his followers are the TRUE Muslims. They are the ones who are putting into practice Islam in its true, honest sense, as preached by Muhammad and his Quran.
The West doesn’t seem to understand this very rudiment, preliminary fact when dealing with the Muslims and Islam.
Islam, as its founder perceived it, is first of all about politics. The politics of conversion and domination.
It is time to see things clearly, not to imagine things and hope for the better.
Burying our heads in the sand, appeasing the Muslims and hoping that they will be peaceful and love the Infidels, is more of an illusion and day-dreaming.
Wake up Westerners.
You opened yourselves to reality, they are invading your lands with your help, they are slowly changing your way of life with your help, they are killing many of you and you’re still sleeping.
What do you want?
It seems to me you have two choices:
1 – Surrender.
2 – Fight back.
So far, you chose the first choice.
It’s not “what would Jesus think, or do.”
It’s what your ancestors -who fought to defend your land against the Muslims- think or do about your idiocy.
Eurabia is a reality.
Londonistan and Paristan are reality.
But you don’t care.
You like it. You like the money that comes from it, the oil money.
You’re blinded by your Atheism and lust while this bloody cult is showing a fake devotion to “morals” and attracting many of you, idiots.
Your hate for Christianity, let’s be honest, brought you to that point of delusionism, of nonchalance, of mental disorder.
Your carelessness about your History, your present and your future make you no different than those who are on drugs.
You chose the path to your own destruction.
You have only yourselves to blame.

Isaac Schrödinger explains the Islamic mindset here. Stephen Browne explains it here. It’s not good. It’s bad. They believe bad things for irrational reasons and can not be reasoned with. They operate completely on bigotry. The only argument which will work is brute force. So let’s get to it.
Tantor on March 18, 2008 at 1:51 PM
Exactly, me thinks this moron doesn’t know the definition of the word “negotiate” for if he did he would see how ludicrous it is to even think for a minute we can negotiate with fascist Islam.
As Seven Percent pointed out:
How do you negotiate with an entity that has no uniform or flag or borders representing a known sovereign nation? Not only that but this is not a country we are fighting, it’s a religious ideology of hate and intolerance of all things that differ from their warped and fascist Islamic ideology!
I’ve used this quote from the movie Terminator often on this site (I’m certain some here are tired of me repeating it) but IMHO it’s worth it because it fits perfectly and points out how absolutely ridiculous and moronic it is to even suggest that it is possible to negotiate or talk with these monsters:
Just substitute Terminator with fascist Islam…
“Listen! And understand! That terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with! It can’t be reasoned with! It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!”
Nuff said…
Liberty or Death on March 18, 2008 at 3:13 PM
Ditto, Liberty or Death. Talk, dialog, negotiation, implies both parties are willing to compromise to some degree. And islam is absolutely uncompromising. As Bl@kbird said, what is there to say between predator and prey? Although for everyone who thinks there is still room for talk, I would be happy to see them all loaded up on planes and shipped directly to AQ. I am confident that America would be the big winner in the outcome of that dialog. And no, there won’t be any rescue mission.
Nikita on March 18, 2008 at 4:20 PM
Yep and the sooner we ship them off the better so we can get them and their “road blocks” out of our way so we may get to the work that needs to be done…sooner rather then later before it’s too late and we see one of our cities go up in a mushroom cloud.
Like you said, no rescue mission either, if they (the people that want to “talk” and “negotiate”) firmly believe talk and negotiation (appeasement is more like it) will stop fascist Islam’s murderous ways well let them do it with no safety net if they’re so convinced they’re right…then we can sit back and tell them ‘we told you so’ while their heads roll and they cry and beg for our help!
