It’s an interesting commentary on our society that you can say that about a “white” guy and people think it’s funny. If you dared say that about a “black” guy, you’d be reviled as a racist.

I’m not suggesting we call anyone an “adolescent orangutan in a suit and tie”, I’m just pointing out how the same mocking expression is permissible when used against one segment of Americans, and reprehensible when used against another segment of Americans.

I personally don’t agree with the whole concept of “race”. Most discussions and government forms want us to “pick a box” for our “race”. What if you a person with parents and grandparents from different “races”? Which “box” are you supposed to check? The whole concept of “race” is used to divide people, not unite people. I personally believe that we are all one race.

Not hardly. Never doubt the destructive power of rising expectations. The French Revolution did not occur when the French peasants were at their most hopeless, but when they were expecting things to improve, and they were not improving fast enough to meet their expectations.

The blacks in the Democratic party are finally seeing themselves as empowered. If Madame Clinton manages, by back room finagling, to snatch the nomination from their favorite, they’ll be out of that convention hall faster than you can say “US of KKK A”. The majority of black voters will write in Obama, and John McCain will win the Presidency without breaking a sweat.

If Clinton is perceived as having stolen the nomination from Obama, her nominating a different black for VP will be seen as the sop that it is, and will be slapped away dramatically.

The Hillary Obama Hillary ticket is finished. All I’m trying to say is if Hillary happens to pull this off, all she needs to do is choose another viable black VP runningmate to re-unite the Dimos. There are many many to choose from..and it will work.

I propose we start calling him “Obama X”.

Or maybe just “ObamaX”.

To reiterate, she cannot win without overturning the will of the national Democratic electorate and fomenting civil war, and she doesn’t care.
