Michael Steele is my first choice for the VP slot, too. I just think Huckabee will be better in the P slot than McCain. Hillary is ready to sink McCain. I think this is the smoking gun. Hillary will nail McCain with both “Sex Scandal” and “Culture of Corruption”. Count on it.

Huckabee, on the other hand, has gone up against the Clinton machine four times and won each time. He has dirt on the Clintons, rather than the other way around. He won’t necessarily share that dirt, but Hillary is afraid of “the other man from Hope, Arkansas”. She is primed and ready to take down McCain when she secures the nomination.

Personally, I think the timing was superbly calcuated. I am of the opinion that Hannity send a friend to buy the tapes from the church perhaps as much as a year ago and has been setting on them until the right time.

This event has the potential to split the Democrat party into silly little squabbling factions.

I encourage him by saying, the VP pick is more important, because there is a strong potential he wil inherit the office in the first term for health reasons.

What do you mean if? The bitter old bastard has been forced on the party by liberals Democrats who want to make the GOP into a second Democrat party. There is no way, short of health issues, that McCain won’t be the nominee. The Democrat will win and perhaps we can start cleaning house of all the fifth columnists that forced us into this miserable situation in the first place.

The nomination has not been awarded yet. McCain is still the “presumptive nominee”. We will not have an official nominee until the convention. A lot can happen between now and then.

John McCain flew on this plane alone with Vicki Iseman. What if the pilot and co-pilot of that plane come forward and say under oath that McCain did have a “Lewinski” relationship on board that jet? “John” McCain would be forced to admit that, “While I did not have a romantic relationship with Vicki Iseman, I did in fact a relationship that was inappropriate and wrong.”

Sound familiar?

“I did have a relationship with Miss Lewinsky that was not appropriate,” Clinton said from the historic Map Room at the White House, where he had testified to a federal grand jury for more than four hours earlier in the day. “In fact, it was wrong. It constituted a critical lapse in judgment and a personal failure on my part for which I am solely and completely responsible.”

If Hillary Clinton had proof of an affair by McCain, it would be the end of the “Straight Talk Express”. If it doesn’t come out until October, it would be the sweetest of revenge for her. Win the Presidency and take down a man who once voted against her and her husband in the impeachment trial.

Think about.

Properly vet our nominee.

If we don’t do it now, the Democrats will do it as their “October Surprise”.

I don’t care if McCain didn’t have a “romantic” relationship with Iseman. Spitzer’s relationship with “Kristen” wasn’t romantic, either. But it was inappropriate, and caused his downfall.

Don’t let the same thing happen to our party with McCain.

And BHObama is NOT a great orator. His own lengthy presentation is slow, without momentum and worse than any criticism the MSM could give an opponent.

As per character assassination, what of NBC referring to anyone over age 60 as “crazy old”? Where’s the AARP on this blanket public smear of the elderly as insane? This stale antic was supposed to be funny on SNL but repeating it on the Monday morning news broadcast only made it worse. This alongside brushing off Obama’s problem. Obama’s current minister cancelled late last night, so here’s this McCain ‘joke’ instead.

Just one more of those LBJ gifts that keep on giving.

Except that a lot of us see Huckabee as nearly as bad as Clinton or Obama. Whatever McCain’s faults, he’s better than the lot.
