Clearly. I’m saying the legislature should adopt a certain policy. I’m not advocating it be enforced illegally by unelected individuals.

Most of the rest of the world seems to have little, if any, comprehension of the word “reciprocity”.

I doubt the U.S. will ever do enough to satisfy the rest of the world. I won’t ramble about all the things we currently do that goes unappreciated and ridiculed. I just know it’s been old for a long time and such critisisms fall on deaf ears as far as I am concerned.

As an American that has traveled abroad, I can appreciate one’s desire to come to the U.S. But it’s not a inherent right for the rest of the world’s citizens to exercise.

If someone can demonstrate they have a job waiting for them in the US, they should be welcomed to the country.

Also, He claims to be a “populist”. This too, to me, is hypocritical. The man makes 5 Million a year. He’s filthy rich, how can he say he’s truly interested in the middle class, when he’s nowhere near the “Middle Class” money-wise?

Don’t get me wrong, I admire the guy for speaking out on a issue, that’s important to him, But I think Lou Dobbs is the wrong person to be doing it. Because most Mexicans look at him and think he’s a-hole. To me, he’s like the Bill O’ of CNN.

Most of what you have stated above, I agree with (shock)… But I must say, insinuating that Dobbs is now a hero of Conservatives is a total disconnect from reality. Lou Dobbs does get it somewhat right on occasion; when he does, most of us give the man some credit for having done so. Some of us sit back in shock when this happens, but eventually give credit where credit is do. Nothing more than that…

But nationalists and socialists are even a bigger problem. They do attack legal immigration no matter what they claim.

If you want a comprehensive approach to immigration, you must secure borders while at the same time increase legal immigration. If someone can demonstrate they have a job waiting for them in the US, they should be welcomed to the country.

What’s up with Democrats and their spouses? Both Clinton and Obama must now get their spouses out of the public eye; hide them in some room hidden by a secret bookshelf. And please notice how calm, rational and non-hyperbolic he was in his countering of Obama’s position. Oh, sure, maybe he scowled a bit, but I sometimes think Lou came out of the womb scowling. But this was a beautiful response without theatrics to the massive Jedi mind trick that Obama-Wan Kenobi is perpetrating on the gullible across the land.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do support the idea that would should enforce the laws that we have on the books, in regards to Illegal Immigration. I also know the Lou Dobbs is Married to a Mexican-American Lady as well.

The problem with Lou Dobbs is this. When he talks about the Illegal Immigration issue. Instead of coming off as someone who’s concerned about this issue, he instead comes off sounding like a arrogant, Rich, White, prick.
