Video: Obama Love Shack Mash-Up

It’s more for fun at this point, since even the media now seems to acknowledge their less-than-objective treatment of the Obamamenon. The folks at Eyeblast put together this montage of mainstream-media love for Barack that will undoubtedly send a thrill up your leg, or perhaps another extremity:

With the Jeremiah Wright sermons getting more exposure, this seems like a propitious moment for the media to do its job in relation to vetting Obama more seriously. Otherwise, we can expect sequels to this video.

It’d be funnier if it still wasn’t happening. Let’s pray they get it out of their system before November.

I miss the 80’s music.

jaime on March 13, 2008 at 5:30 PM

Yeah, it was definitely worth it for the soundtrack. Is there anywhere to get the skinny on the legality of making/submitting things like this? I’d love to start cranking out these videos but I’d hate to open myself to the risk of copyright infringement on network video or music.

Obamamenon!
That is great.

“It’s hard to stay objective.”
“It’s very courageous for Lee to say this.”

Courageous? I question the courage of admitting the difficulty of hiding your bias when all your colleagues (at NBC and MSNBC) are barely concealing their bias. The media prides their own frank revelation that their coverage is less than frank. It would be courageous to admit due to the difficulty of staying objective you have decided to no longer cover the campaign, lest your bias color and taint your reporting.

But no, instead they congratulate themselves on their honesty. It is as if an intoxicated man admitted that he was too drunk to drive, but gets into the driver’s seat nonetheless, and his friends speak about how courageous he is to admit he’s having a hard time staying on the road.

“Wowwwwwwwwwww” I love the intellect of the Press, especially the bitchy-chicks on NBC and the Repulsively & Scarily Ugly Non-Babes on CNN

Can we audaciously hope that the Democrats will suffer a crushing defeat in November?

Yes, we can.

How much more obvious does it have to be for the public to get what CHANGE means with Obama?!

maverick muse on March 13, 2008 at 6:20 PM

Shiny, happy people holding hands. No, really!

You can’t spell CHANGE without “HANG”, and Obama is going to hang all of his followers out to dry.

SouthernGent on March 13, 2008 at 6:30 PM

SouthernGent, yeah, that’s Obama’s message in a nutshell.

Uh, did anyone notice on the Newsweek cover the heading over Barack’s head “The New Face of Terror”?
Prophecy or Declaration?

I just don’t get it. I don’t find him intelligent, I don’t find him effective, in the least bit. I don’t find him magnetic. I don’t even find him a good choice for running for city dog-catcher. What is this “Obamamania” everybody keeps going on, about?

don’t question. just be glad you are NOT in his demographic!

Branch Rickey on March 13, 2008 at 11:39 PM

I am not one of his follows, but my daughter is, because she thinks he looks nice and wants to change things.
When someone says they are for him because he is for change, I always ask them to tell me what he has said he is going to change and how is he going to do it. That pretty much ends the conversation right there as they try and come up with an answer. My daughter, a junior in college, could not answer my question.

The “CHILL” is going up my spine: to think this incompetent, nincompoop just might be our next Commander-in-Chief.
