Also, Riggles was their Iraq Correspondent and did a wonderful job, John Stewart made the hire because he wanted to show his support for the military (alot of whom watch his show as well). But of course we have to catch the 1800 rerun.

Everyone, I am a regular Daily Show watcher, as well as Colbert.

Both of these shows do have Democrat hosts, however, the lampooning has been quite good in the last few years for both sides. If anyone rembers the 2004 material, it was quite even handed (likely because Kerry was just easy).

Anyone with a balanced sense of humor should read “America: The Book”. You have to be able to accept jokes about yourself (they are all good natured) but the lampooning of the media culture and voter stupidity is classic.

That was a great clip, the karate part was funny as part of the interview break.

I doubt there will be any viewership loses over this. Most lib’s will have a nagging feeling they are the butt of the joke but they will just shrug it off and the whole clip will just go right over their head.

I guess I know what businesses not to open in Berkley, a barber shop and soap store.

I liked that line, too.

I liked the clip, and I like the Daily Show–occasionally.

But don’t give them too much credit. They only assault the left when they are outlandish and ridiculous and they feel the need to seem at least somewhat reasonable.
