The Ed Morrissey Show: Jim Geraghty

posted at 1:46 pm on March 12, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Jim Geraghty of National Review’s Campaign Spot joins me to review the latest developments in the Spitzer scandal, as well as look at the Mississippi primary results from last night. We’ll also discuss whether the long wait until Pennsylvania helps or hurts Hillary, and what Geraldine Ferraro has done to the campaign: fresh truth or victim exploitation?

Keep talking turkey, and you’ll be asked to dress up like this guy.

Obama is running away from himself and anyone who comments about his color, name or past is villified.

I give Ferraro credit for sticking to her words.

I’ve never agreed with anything Ms. Geraldine has said, until now. She’s nailed this one and it’s pitifull she’s being ostricized like….well, like some kind of conservative.

When a liberal finally speaks the truth (and that is rare) we find out they think like a conservative…they just act like a liberal because that is their power base.
Now that she has been “dressed down”, she will be more careful about speaking the truth.

HA HA! It’s okay, Jim. I got your back. :-)

Ferraro made the inexcusable mistake of speaking the truth. Imagine a white guy with Obama’s resume (46-year old Harvard lawyer, first-term Senator, ultra-liberal, with absolutely no military or executive experience). Would the white guy be getting the incredibly fawning media coverage that Obama now takes for granted? We all know the answer to that question.

Is that a dhimmi tax?

Michael Medved is making a big deal of this, calling Ferraro’s comments outrageous.

I happen to agree with Ferraro. The real story is the pot calling the kettle black. This is a pun, but I thought of the cliche long before I realized it was a pun. The only reason that anyone knows her name is that she was the Democratic nominee for vice president and, the only reason she was nominated was her sex.

burt on March 12, 2008 at 5:16 PM

True, burt, but Ferraro admitted as much. She said that if her name had been Gerald Ferraro, she would not have been asked to be V.P. on the Dem ticket. Ferraro wasn’t being a hypocrite when she made the remarks about Obama, she was simply telling the truth. That’s what made the Dems so angry. To paraphrase Jack Nicholson, they can’t handle the truth!
