I live in Mississippi and there is no registration by party. Yes, I already voted here on the Coast for Billary and the polls were busy early this morning.

I love the smell of mischief in the morning, it smells like… victory.

They’re Clintonian tactics, and we’ve seen them for sixteen years now….Clinton campaign guru James Carville famously noted how difficult it was for opponents to respond when one kept one’s fist in their face.

Exactly. The Clintons have always played by the rule that the best Defense is a good offense.

Here’s a prime example of Clintonian tactics from 18 months ago.

Why doesn’t Hussein just talk about cattle futures, Whitewater, Madison Guaranty, the McDougals, the removal of files from Vince Foster’s office before his body was cold, blaming Monica Lewinski on “a vast, rightwing conspiracy,” Hillary’s decision to punish Paula Jones rather than settle with her, the Rose billing records magically showing up in the Map Room, Travelgate and the travel office staff being found not guilty in an hour… I must have left something out.

He’s actually too smart for that. Democrats have already demonstrated that they’re so adept at denial that they actually don’t believe there was anything corrupt in any of that. Plus, he’s running as “a different sort of politician,” which means in practice that his proxy attacks have to be sanitized unusually well. You’ll never catch him making criticisms that can be characterized as anything but “mild,” unless he screws up.

And the last point is that the Clinton campaign is already booked to the gills on the topic. You know that the Clinton campaign was just aching for a chance to turn Obama into the Democrats’ worst caricature of Ken Starr and Henry Hyde, right? Remember what the Clinton campaign said just last week in response to a perfectly legitimate request that she expose her tax records? “I do not believe that imitating Ken Starr is the way to win a Democratic primary election for president…” Sweet, eh? Even to ask for a legitimate level of openness is to “imitate Ken Starr.” They’ve been waiting for the chance to paint themselves as poor, persecuted innocents. Barack’s too cagey to give them the chance.

So’s McCain, by the way. Reminding the independent voters of the Clinton sleaze will be the job of the internet. Oh, and of the occasional slip from the random senior foreign policy advisor, advising that “Hillary is a monster.” Ergh.

The last unifying Democratic President told us that talk radio “hate” was responsible for the Oklahoma City Bombing, remember?

I do believe they intend to unite the country by silencing every voice that disagrees with theirs. When everybody speaking agrees with you, that’s unity, right?

It was LBJ, a Democrat, who made the ad of a little girl picking daisies and then the mushroom cloud.

This could be an “Obama Victory”: you win, but you don’t meet expectations, and so it feels like a loss.

They’ve been beating us with that tactic ever since. They control the agenda with it. They control the debate with it. We can’t seem to get off defensive.

As much as Democrats incessantly whine about their abuse at the hands of George W. Bush, the man has barely uttered a peep about them during his Presidency.

Democrats deserve to have anvils hurled at their cartoon character skulls, while the Bush Administration flips cotton balls.

Still, wing a Democrat with a cotton ball and he blubbers for a week. Meanwhile, clowns like Obama hurls lies and slander at Republicans daily, but sees no conflict.

Is he accusing Hillary of being of sound mind, level-headed, and one who works for the good of her country?
