My wife is Filipina. We hang out with this group.

My wife immigrated legally by way of K-1 visa in 2007. I discovered first hand that the legal immigration process is not “fun”. Happily, I got her in “just under the wire” in July, when the processing fees increased by a factor of 3 – 4 for much of the required paperwork. I know a number of Filipinos that are now struggling with the new rules/fees. IMHO, Homeland Security is now making it nearly impossible for many people to immigrate legally.

Break out the AP/MSM-to-English dictionaries. “Middle Eastern militants” apparently means “radical Islamist terrorists” outside of media Newspeak.

But “radical Islamist terrorists” could just be Muslims indigenous to the Phillipines. That they’re of foreign origin is significant. Not that the AP et al don’t aggresssively whitewash the “Muslim” bit, but your re-phrasing does leave out some important information.

However, I really think our intel since 911 has greatly improved.

And I echo that, it took seven years, lawyers, thousands of dollars US, but our family was finally reunited.

Doing it legally is hard, which is why some of the MOST patriotic Americans are those who came here as first generation imigrants. They WORKED, and SACRIFICED, for the world’s greatest PRIVILEDGE of being a US citizen. They played by the rules, and it burns their ass to see crimigrants jump to the front of the line and steal what others work so hard for.

Shameful.

Hmmm…it took me a year & a half to get my non-terrorist Filipina wife here.

Beware, Mexico and Canada get much of the limelight due to their close proximity to the mainland, but watchout for those who enter Hawaii from the Philippines and Indonesia. They blend in so well and the Asian culturally controlled Demoncratic state make it easy for them to hide.

In a matter of days they are able to gain new documents and be on their way to the mainland to pick up their weapon of choice.

Oh,and the Liberal party keeps saying theres no terrorists
but they blame Bush,they say if President Bush did’t attack
Irag then the terrorists wouldn’t be mad!

However if President Clinton would of attacked the right
target,instead of the Pharaceutical factory,maybe the
terrorist’s wouldn’t of been p!ssed off,so Clinton can take
credit for that one!

And Maybe the news shows are delibertly not mentioning
Middle eastern,especialy during this election cycle as
not to have it on the front burner,so Hillary doesn’t
have to talk much about WOT,that’s my vast conspiracy
theory!
