If it were anyone else it’d be foolish, but with Maverick doing better on national security among voters than Hillary and Obama combined, the Iraq argument isn’t the automatic loser it might otherwise be.
Sounds like he’s ready. Note the not so veiled reference to politicians who seek power for no reason greater than their own overweening ambition. And then, a few minutes later, a pointed redefinition of the word … “hope.”

Excellent speech–good thing he didn’t use those rhetorical skills when he was pushing amnesty or we would be in deep trouble.

jusstjones, don’t know if you’ll ever get back this way, but about his arms. They, when torturing him would tie his arms behind him and leave him there for so long it did lasting damage to the sockets where his arms are attached to his shoulders. You’re right, he can’t lift his arms because of communist north vietnamese torture tactics.
