Exit polls are just starting to trickle in. Nothing yet by way of hard data but — surprise — voters in both Texas and Ohio find Obama to be more electable, per Fox News. We’ve had the first reports of dirty tricks too, courtesy of pro-Hillary TalkLeft. And Huck is complaining about the lack of energy on behalf of McCain among the GOP base, even as Maverick prepares to put him to sleep tonight and turn his attention fully to the, ahem, purple states.
Ed and I are going to try to co-liveblog it via the Cover It Live widget below. (Thanks to Patrick Ishmael for the tip.) It’s our first time using it so bear with us. Things should heat up starting at 7 p.m. ET. While you wait, enjoy the results of this poll suggesting whom voters really trust at 3 a.m. Exit quotation one: “I didn’t get my hands dirty making all those good things happen in the ’90s.” Exit quotation two: America is a country that’s “just downright mean.”

Beating the Networks By Several Seconds
I’m hearing a network may be on the verge of calling Texas’ primary for Hillary. If’ I’m right, I beat the networks. If I’m wrong, forget you ever read this.
Fox News calls Texas and Rhode Island for McCain on the Republican side… and that does it for him!

So McCain wins, but still only gets 50% (or less) of the GOP vote. A lot of work to do, indeed.

That is not happening. Money says Kay Bailey Hutchinson if McCain wants the South, Olympia Snowe if he simply wants the female vote while sticking one more thumb in our eyes.

Exit polling in Texas points to Hillary 50% and Barack 48.5%. Too close to call, but probably Clinton, and probably Obama wins the caucuses again.

Well, I went out and did my duty. Voted in the dem primary, forsaking all those Republican local candidates that were counting on my support. And pulled the lever for Hillary.
I felt the bile rising in my throat as I did.

Where is Red Pill?
I mean after his flooding the forum pushing Huckster the last few days, he must be SOMEWHERE!!
Now that Huck is bowing out the truth can be told…McCain has less respect for Huck than he does for Mitt. Its just that Mitt was a real threat and Huck was just a non-threatening, never-to-be-taken-serious buffoon who was playing to the dumb.

I’ll bet that Obama pulls it out in Tejas because the young’uns are coming out in droves to vote for Obama. they’ll be the ones to caucus after they vote. Hillary voters, not so much. It’s the Obama Kids that are driving this election in Tejas.

With Ed’s comment that exit polling didn’t include early voters (of course) my guesstimate is that it will be Hillary 49.5% and Barack 49% in the primary, and Barack caucusing about 54% to 46%. Hillary will not get as many delegates but claim a moral win by having a greater popular vote in both TX and OH.

So, the RINO establishment has the fix in…… I really have the feeling that we have all been played like the reporting on the Iraq war. One of the best Conservative Canidates with the strongest stance on illegal immigration and defending the country is Duncan Hunter. When McCain had 1% backing after Shamnesty, he was still all over the news, but where was Duncan? And how fast did all of the entrenched RINO politicians and bureaucrats fall in line, even when Mitt was still in the race?
The only way to beat these bastards is to elect conservative House and Senate members, then light a continuous fire under thier butts not to listen to the RINO establishment, but to finally listen to the people of this country….
This has been a farce… just my $0.02.
