BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

OMG, I loved that.

Too funny.

scottm on March 4, 2008 at 2:33 PM

Mwuahahahaha! Funniest. Chart. Ever.

Aristotle on March 4, 2008 at 2:33 PM

Ha! Looks like they took it as a bait and switch…

Vizzini on March 4, 2008 at 2:34 PM

HOLY CRAP!!

The continental shelf doesn’t have a drop-off like that!

Too funny.

tlclark on March 4, 2008 at 2:34 PM

Well at least that shows the true face of a Obama supporter. Terrorism…nothing to see here unless he/she is ‘zionazi’ or chirstian.

Lance Murdock on March 4, 2008 at 2:35 PM

LMAO! That was a riot! Poor Hillary…not.

ihasurnominashun on March 4, 2008 at 2:37 PM

LOL. Were they expecting McCain?

frankj on March 4, 2008 at 2:37 PM

Obama supporters give me bad feelings…

I really hope Hillary can get this nomination, I’m counting on voting for her if she does.

paultevis on March 4, 2008 at 2:37 PM

They should do the same thing for the commercial Jack Nicholson just released endorsing Shillary. Those chart lines would be all over the place on that one!

pilamaye on March 4, 2008 at 2:38 PM

It’s the undecideds that are the best. Is this real? Sure doesn’t bode well for clinton, if so.

lorien1973 on March 4, 2008 at 2:38 PM

Apparently, even undecideds hate Hillary.

Clark1 on March 4, 2008 at 2:38 PM

Wait for it…wait for it…wait for it…..BOOOMMMMM!!!
LOL

jlemieu1 on March 4, 2008 at 2:38 PM

They had a focus group on Fox the other evening and they were doing the same sort of excercise with political ads. They were showing one that was trumpeting various virtuous and desirous traits for a leader, but in whole pretty vague. When Shrillary’s name came on the screen, all the lines plummetted below the base line and into the negative zone. Only the Shrillary supporter’s lines rebounded back into postitive by the end of the spot.

Mallard T. Drake on March 4, 2008 at 2:40 PM

The Obama line tanked when the ad started using words with more than one syllable.

repvoter on March 4, 2008 at 2:41 PM

What I don’t get is why Republicans would support Obama (see http://www.washingtontimes.com/article/20080304/NATION/326810167/1001) if he is so absent on National Security. I understand libs feeling that way, but are Republicans relying on “feelings” and that Obama makes them “feel good”? I don’t get it.

I do hope Hillary gets the nomination though. We’ll beat her like a drum.

kerrhome on March 4, 2008 at 2:42 PM

Yeah…I don’t get it. I guess the bottom falls out when Hillary answers the phone? I’d rather have that witch answer the bat phone than Obama any day. Yeah, lots of innocent people will die, but if it’s Obama, all of the dead innocents will be here.

He’s worthless, he’s a liar, and he’s a fraud. She’s just an all around, power-mad witch. I’m ok with that.

I guess I’m voting for McCain.

Jaibones on March 4, 2008 at 2:43 PM

I don’t get it.

kerrhome on March 4, 2008 at 2:42 PM

I think the answer is — the Republicans for Obama meme is crap.

Jaibones on March 4, 2008 at 2:44 PM

I guess I’m voting for McCain.

Jaibones on March 4, 2008 at 2:43 PM

I guess I’m voting for McCain too, Jaibones, but only because of National Defense and possibly the Supreme Court will be in play. The only chance to get anyone resembling a conservative on the Supreme Court now is to elect McCain.

kerrhome on March 4, 2008 at 2:48 PM

It’s really just Janeane Garofalo calling on the phone. She wants her stinkin’ glasses back from Hillary.

Brat on March 4, 2008 at 2:48 PM

I’d like to see those graph lines if Fred! had answered the phone!

txsurveyor on March 4, 2008 at 2:49 PM

I’d like to see those graph lines if Fred! had answered the phone!

txsurveyor on March 4, 2008 at 2:49 PM

Glad I’m not the only one still dreaming of Fred!

kerrhome on March 4, 2008 at 2:52 PM

Great set-up.

Great punchline.

Great ad … for McCain.

Whichever idiot in the Hillary camp who came up with this needs to be fired. Or paid off by Karl Rove. Unless you’re deep, deep in the Kool-Aid, the natural response to the end of that ad is to pause and wonder … would I really want Hillary answering that? Is she experienced enough?

She so obviously raised the single issue she should never have raised. And the fact that Obama is even less experienced and even less competent doesn’t exactly help her.

This may go down in history as the dumbest political move ever.

——————-

I love how the Obama supporters didn’t even seem to like the idea of having a Commander-in-Chief.

Professor Blather on March 4, 2008 at 2:53 PM

ok, I LOL’d, but is this really that surprising? It’s not like you would expect a different result? I guess the undecided viewer dive is the most reassuring thing for McCain?

ParisParamus on March 4, 2008 at 2:53 PM

Anyone notice the precipitous drop in the Obama line when the military is mentioned? That’s way funny-scarier than the punch line at the end.

spmat on March 4, 2008 at 2:57 PM

I could see the punchline coming, but I still laughed when it hit.

Enrique on March 4, 2008 at 2:58 PM

CNN just played the WI.I.AM Obama chant video!

ArmyAunt on March 4, 2008 at 3:00 PM

Independents seem to fly parallel to Obama wanna’s.

Reminds me of the films of early V2 launchings before the stabilizing system worked.

Hening on March 4, 2008 at 3:01 PM

I’d love to see them run another one by the focus group — same voice over but with IMAO’s Obama 3AM pic slowly coming into focus.

Dusty on March 4, 2008 at 3:04 PM

THe barak people started to tank when the word “experince” came up.

But then its just words right obama ?

William Amos on March 4, 2008 at 3:04 PM

Jaibones on March 4, 2008 at 2:43 PM

God! That made me laugh so hard. It’s a great way to sum up exactly how I feel, but I would have added a few things to the BO list… like truly frightening.

shibumiglass on March 4, 2008 at 3:05 PM

For those who haven’t seen it, here’s Scrappleface’s version of Hillary’s 3 a.m. ad, which I had a tiny part in helping bring to life.

As Homer would say, “it’s funny because it’s true.”

wordwarp on March 4, 2008 at 3:05 PM

I don’t get it. They liked Itchy, they liked Scratchy, one kid seemed to love the Speedo man. What more do they want?

Damian P. on March 4, 2008 at 3:10 PM

Don’t they test these ads before they release them? That is my Penn gets $5 million right? You would think that the goal is to persuade independents and Obmorons. Apparently not. Looks like the ads was designed to raise money from the faithful to keep on going and do as much damage to Obama as she can.

pedestrian on March 4, 2008 at 3:11 PM

I’m still wiping the tears from my eyes

Grafted on March 4, 2008 at 3:16 PM

pedestrian on March 4, 2008 at 3:11 PM

Are you suggesting Hillary to surgically change her face and voice? Because these are the two things that made these lines plummet.

Aristotle on March 4, 2008 at 3:20 PM

Watch the Obama crowd go south at “someone who knows the world’s leaders, someone who knows the military.”

BohicaTwentyTwo on March 4, 2008 at 3:21 PM

Is that a dude er a chick checkin the kids… and by the way who dresses like that at 3 in the o dark morning?
I thought it was better than that looking for Universal pre-K Christmas, er uh, Holiday ad.

christophercube on March 4, 2008 at 3:23 PM

Hillary’s KKK campaign staff also widened Obama’s face, including his nose.

MB4 on March 4, 2008 at 3:24 PM

A phone call at 3 in the morning?

It was Monica calling for Bill.

hepcat on March 4, 2008 at 3:42 PM

Approval ratings falling faster than a dog getting thrown off a cliff.

/too soon?

Spc Steve on March 4, 2008 at 3:42 PM

An impressive drop off isn’t it? Wow. The second she’s identified… flush.

High Desert Wanderer on March 4, 2008 at 3:51 PM

I just imagine a room full of Obama supporters all yanking their dials the left like a synchronized swim team.

The sad thing is that, for the most part, everyone was fine until the picture showed up. How would they lines have moved if they didn’t show a picture or a name? This just tells me that they are voting emotions/hate/love based on the face, not on the issues.

cannonball on March 4, 2008 at 3:51 PM

Glad I’m not the only one still dreaming of Fred!

kerrhome on March 4, 2008 at 2:52 PM

Definitely NOT alone there!

ihasurnominashun on March 4, 2008 at 3:53 PM

Obama supporters only want to hear about Sugar Coated Rainbows.

Chakra Hammer on March 4, 2008 at 4:09 PM

Rudy should be the one answering that phone.

Chakra Hammer on March 4, 2008 at 4:10 PM

That said, McCain can handle it.

Chakra Hammer on March 4, 2008 at 4:11 PM

As much as I can’t stand the man, John Stewart summed it up pretty good…. 3am or not, if I’m calling the White House somebody better be picking up before the sixth ring!

This ad may save John McCain and diffuse the negatives from the fact he’s older than dirt….. It’s 3am, I’ll be up using the bathroom anyway!

highhopes on March 4, 2008 at 4:12 PM

Bimbo Eruption Suppressor does not equal Commander in Chief material.

Maquis on March 4, 2008 at 4:20 PM

ha ha.

Question: Who isn’t home in the White House at 3AM during a Clinton 3-peat? Hint: He’s out feeling everybody’s “pain”.

pecan pie on March 4, 2008 at 4:25 PM

That is Hill-larious!!! Funny how you know what’s coming, but it still makes you fall out of your chair laughing!!!

Lan Astaslem on March 4, 2008 at 4:35 PM

She’s toast if Democratic undecideds tank nearly as strongly as Obama supporters when the “punchline” is revealed. But we already knew that.

Mark Jaquith on March 4, 2008 at 4:44 PM

Screw Fred! He was the worst thing that happened this last summer and fall.

cjs1943 on March 4, 2008 at 5:20 PM

Actually, the ad would be most improved if the person answering the phone were… Chuck Norris.

BlueZ on March 4, 2008 at 6:19 PM

There’s a bright shiny quarter in it for anyone who can dub in a toilet flushing when the numbers go off the cliff there….

Patrick S on March 4, 2008 at 7:55 PM

Something about Hillary Clinton at 3am, and that drooping at the end. . . didn’t the Clintons only have one child?

smellthecoffee on March 5, 2008 at 12:03 AM

Priceless!
