Video: “The Obama Files”

posted at 2:00 pm on March 3, 2008 by Allahpundit

In which the post-racial candidate does his damnedest to stay that way by removing himself from people who say things like this. Never mind the Hillary and Rudy cameos; this is the funniest thing from SNL this weekend. Although that may be because any reasonably good imitation of Jesse Jackson’s speaking style is, ipso facto, hilarious.

I hope those weren’t white men doing the voices.

The way Michelle ‘distracted’ the cameras is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time. My God, it’s just so true. She may prove to be one of BO’s greatest liabilities.

I wish you all would put Monica Crowley in your blog roll she has been blogging about “A Distinguished Gentleman” That
movie does seem familar, Mr Obama er I mean Mr Murphy goes to Washington?

Jessie: “See, you would say ‘Change!’, and I would say ‘it’s time to turn the pange!’”

One of the funniest shorts ever. Dang, don’t any HAers watch SNL anymore?

This brings up a great point tho…just where HAVE Jackson and Sharpton been?

JetBoy on March 3, 2008 at 2:37 PM

This from NBC.com? I’m shocked! Pretty funny stuff.

No At least not me. I have to turn the TV over on it’s right side just to see the picture.

They use a robotic voice system called The Jacksonator. It’s funny now but when SkyNet goes live all the laughes stop.

You know, I’ve been thinking that constantly since the beginning of this campaign. Great movie and, yes, lots of parallels. Thanks for mentioning it.

If Obama becomes president, Jesse Jackson, et al are out of a job. I heard a clip of some TV show over the weekend on the radio and it was Wanda Sykes. I thought it summed up quite nicely where Jackson and his kind are: “You can’t blame The Man if you are The Man.”

wherestherum on March 3, 2008 at 2:53 PM

Is any one else thinking Bevis and Butthead?

That’s the only good thing that would come out of his presidency. Another good way to sum up:
“It won’t get better if you keep picking at it.”

Ahhh…good point! Not for nothing, but think of Wanda Sykes as Press Secretary…

The guy playing Barry sounded like a very young Leonard Nimoy to me. If they were white they do a great job.

Is it me, or did Obama sound like Spock? I hear it now…

It is funny, but it’s clearly campagin advice to Obama.

And it is good advice, no matter what.

That was Sharpton, not Rangel. Hilarious! I love Darryl Hammond’s Jesse Jackson’s impersonations.
