To the above question of independents in Florida. I am a registered independent in the great state of Florida, and you can only vote in primaries according to party affiliation. Independents cannot vote in either party..As for Jerry Rivers, everyone above made all my points, as in “people that look like me”(half Jewish/half Puerto Rican?), mindlessly promoting open borders, etc…Retire Geraldo,please………

To coin a phrase:

Geraldo is one of the useless idiots.

I don’t know why FOX puts up with him. Or why anyone puts up with him.

He shines best in the use of hyperbole – just like Lou Dobbs – but he is almost unequivocally wrong on every issue down the line.

Shall we not forget how, embedded with a unit in Iraq, he attempted (succeeded?) in giving away their positions, and got tossed out?

But, his behavior over the illegal immigration issue has been solidly racist, through and through. Geraldo needs to look in the mirror every time he called someone a racist or nativist (or what have you), for maintaining an opinion on the subject different that his.

In Florida you can only vote in the primaries the way you’re registered. When I went to vote, I recieved a ballot with only the Republican candidates names. I don’t know how it works for independents.

I’m curioius – I read several reports of Independents voting (for McCain) in the Rino Primaries. HA may have even linked to one local newspaper there. Was that not the case except for isolated incidents?…at least to your knowledge?

Legal immigrants? Glad to have them, I’ve gone to school with them, worked with them and been friends with some of them. Great, they want to become citizens and are willing (just like *all* of those that came before) to do what is necessary to assimilate into our society and abide by our laws, I’m happy as a lark, the more the merrier!

But, Rivera is a bigot of the worst sort, he wants to give citizenship and preferential treatment to illegals crossing the southern border (note; he doesn’t support or mention illegals from other countries than Mexico or Cuba). Not only does he want to give them preferential treatment, but he wants to make sure that we assimilate to their cultural needs (providing services in Spanish for example).

Its just so surprising how hypocritical and bigoted the Left, oops, I mean Geraldo is. The gall, to call us nativists when its they who are asking for special treatment for those “poor, vulnerable” criminals, placing them ahead of law abiding legal immigrants….

…sigh… our country is soooo broken and in so much trouble…I need to drink myself into oblivion.

Yea, Geraldo’s right…Out of 13million people, the 10,000 Cubans are responsible for Romney’s defeat in Florida. You have to wonder who Geraldo’s talking to. Does he think that the 80% of Americans who want illegal aliens out of this country are listening to him?

The half-wits who appear on, and watch, the view and his program are his entire audience. All we need is a program with him, Juan Hernandez and George Lopez on at the same time. That would be a good opportunity for ICE to deport all three together.
