The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with our six-hour-long broadcast schedule starting at 11 am CT. The first two hours features Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas. Mitch and I hit the airwaves for the second shift from 1-3 pm CT, and King Banaian and Michael Broadkorb have The Final Word from 3-5. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area.
Since I’ve just started posting at Hot Air, many of you may not know about our weekly radio show. I hope you take a listen to all of us. Mitch and I will undoubtedly talk about my move to Hot Air during today’s show, as well as the NAFTA dance that the Barack Obama campaign has conducted, the new Hillary Clinton “3 AM” ad and Obama’s “Ringing” reply, wonder how the Democrats ever hoped to sell the notion that John McCain wasn’t American enough to be President, and much, much more.
Be sure to call 651-289-4488 to join the conversation!

I like this Ed guy being here. There haven’t been this many posts on a Saturday in ages! Lots to read before the morning McGriddle though! :P

I saw NARN and I immediately thought of those reptilo-humanoid warrior creatures in Babylon 5. Guess not.
Good luck with the broadcast, and may it grow to 24/7/365.

Good luck NARN. I’m sure Al Franken has sent you all a welcome to the neighborhood card.
Now if there is some way to get one of your producers to get my moonbat sister-in-law in Milwaukee to listen to you I would be most appreciative. It would save me a lot of blood pressure medicine.

Yep. Nice for shut-ins like me who do nothing but refresh Hot Air all day.

Ed will be bringing lots of Captain’s Quarters fans with him to Hot Air. I’ve been a reader of his for a few years now and have always enjoyed his commentary, even when I haven’t agreed completely (which has been rare).
I’m also a fan of Michelle’s writing (from way back in the day when she was syndicated in the “Daily News” newspaper in the San Fernando Valley). It’s been fun to watch her grow and achieve the success she has. Here’s hoping the Captain will do the same!

The NARN has been my Sat afternoon companion for quite a while. All three segments are a really worth a listen, even when the conversation turns to Minnesota issues (particularly in Segment 3, since, like listening to California radio, what arises in Stuart Smalley’s Minnesota is a harbinger of what’s coming to your neighborhood).

My god, I thought I was at Shot in the Dark for a second there. Does this mean the stream is working properly now?

Me too! HA’s a great hangout on winter weekends. Goes good with beer and pretzels too.
