9 p.m. ET on MSNBC. Last chance for our gal, for realsies. The boss, cynic that she is, has already liveblogged it in Laphamesque fashion. In the unlikely event that either party veers from the script — we’re in a cooldown stage, after all — we’ll have video here later. If you’re looking for schadenfreude, enjoy Clinton crony Leon Panetta taking a ceremonial dump on ace Hillary pollster Mark Penn. If it’s Messiah reading you want, take your pick: Newsweek offering him as the first woman president or the Wash Times suggesting that the Pentagon’s wringing its hands at the thought of a true blue lefty C-in-C (”A senior Pentagon official said an Obama swearing-in ‘will give the Arab street the final victory, the best optics, and the ultimate in bragging rights. They win. We lose.’”) We know from the left’s incessant pounding of the chickenhawk meme that only the military really knows what it’s talking about in matters of war, so weigh that accordingly.
I believe. I still believe.
Update: “One member said the only way he wouldn’t vote for Clinton is if he died.”

Any zingers yet?
THE CHOSEN ONE on February 26, 2008 at 9:49 PM
Well, no, but…
Hey, how about “Massatusets”? how dumb is that?
Mark V. on February 26, 2008 at 9:49 PM
Hill and Barry aren’t the only one’s who want our troops redeployed to Afghanistan.
I saw an interview last night with the Marines pulling duty in Anbar Province. They said they were bored to death in Anbar, nothing much going on there anymore. They want to go to Afghanistan and get back in the fight.
Afghanistan, you’re next.
Not the Dems would give any credit to success their either.
fogw on February 26, 2008 at 9:49 PM
Probably an empty suit and a move toward socialism. Just like we got with JFK and his successor LBJ. I hold neither in high regard. Obama remains untested. My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that he’s just another Jimmy Carter without the accent. But he’s not stupid.
Oldnuke on February 26, 2008 at 9:50 PM
They should call Brian Williams “the wedge” because apparently he’s man’s simplest tool. Loved the way he fought off Shrillery to get to that commercial break. Nice work, boys…
bofh on February 26, 2008 at 9:50 PM
MSNBC has a crappy feed…constant buffering….
In a few minutes, I’ll just give up. I keep hoping these two worthless clowns will beat me to it and give up first.
Osama Obama didn’t hold committee hearings on Afghanistan (or is that Off-gone-ee-stohn?) because he’s been on the campaign trail? How comforting.
Eight years of either one can only be a total disaster.
MrScribbler on February 26, 2008 at 9:51 PM
Brain to fingers …
Not that the Dems would give any credit to success there either.
fogw on February 26, 2008 at 9:52 PM
Yes, so true.

Obama: “I’ve spent my life helping others… seeking out the American dream.”
By suing people. You go.
Mark V. on February 26, 2008 at 9:55 PM
Can we get Obama’s extended annnnnnds into the drinking game?
nemo239 on February 26, 2008 at 9:56 PM
Obama just put on a turban!
Oh, wait, that was a commercial for MSN tech support…
Never mind.
profitsbeard on February 26, 2008 at 9:57 PM
Barry has his “uh” and “aaand”.
Hillary Senator Lesbian has “you know”.
Just strong minds, very facile, strong and impressive. Fighting minds, filled with power and strength.
benrand on February 26, 2008 at 9:57 PM
If this thing isn’t the best campaign tool for McCain, I don’t know what is.
Endurance level: reached.
yo on February 26, 2008 at 9:57 PM
Man, what the hell was the question? So long ago I don’t even remember for all the different segues they’ve made.
Mark V. on February 26, 2008 at 9:57 PM
When HRC stops talking, you can watch the botox shift back into place.
evenkeel on February 26, 2008 at 9:58 PM
Maybe Obambi will be nice and give Shillary a broom that she can go cackle away on.

No healthcare, no job, and nobody’s listening to their cries for help.
Boo Freakin Hoo.
Who put them in that position Barry?
Throw money and programs at them, and we’ll all dance and eat ice cream cones together.
Been there. Done that. Doesn’t work.
fogw on February 26, 2008 at 9:58 PM
Way to stay on course Brian.
Mark V. on February 26, 2008 at 9:59 PM
Hillary: any large, successful company is a special interest group, and we need to take more money from them because they the one of the highest taxed companies in the world.
Excellent!
Over30 on February 26, 2008 at 9:59 PM
Maybe Brian Williams isn’t such a spineless weasel.
Mark V. on February 26, 2008 at 9:59 PM
Obama stumbling for words…he’s off tonight. Go in for the kill Hillary Rodham Clinton!
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:00 PM
Hillary is name-dropping Ohio cities.
Obama is desperately trying to think of some she didn’t mention.
Euclid…Independence…Medina… Mecca…?
profitsbeard on February 26, 2008 at 10:00 PM
“Hillary voted for it and hoped it wouldn’t pass”.
That’s not nearly as bad as when Bush signed campaign finance reform hoping the SC would strike down the unconstitutional parts, then they didn’t.
jbohanon on February 26, 2008 at 10:01 PM
Akron, Canton, Toledo…
carbon_footprint on February 26, 2008 at 10:01 PM
Just lost the whole feed here.

Can Berry name the President of Pokeestan? Explain “One China”?
I can’t imagine him getting the same harassment GWB had to put up with.
What a joke. Thanks Media, you guys are the best.
benrand on February 26, 2008 at 10:02 PM
Let’s go Hillary! Alla Rush today, keep the chaos alive!
nemo239 on February 26, 2008 at 10:02 PM
I want to see what they’re writing on those pads! She should doodle while he’s droning on and on. He should do the same while she drones.
Barack
HusseinObama admitting he’s a profit hog! Typical liberal.SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:02 PM
Shocked!
carbon_footprint on February 26, 2008 at 10:02 PM
Obama looks like a deer in the headlights on that question…hence the reason he’s not answering it.
Shocka question!
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:03 PM
“Exxon-Mobil made $11 Billion last quarter, they aren’t going to give up those profits easy”

bofh on February 26, 2008 at 10:05 PM
Okay — enough of MSNBC’s lousy feed, with constant buffering and long interruptions.
I’m sure AP will post the video later if Osama Obama and Hildebeest break into fisticuffs.
MrScribbler on February 26, 2008 at 10:06 PM
Is the crowd behind a glass wall? They are oddly quiet. Probably bored to death.
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:06 PM
I think that’s called an ‘Obamagasm’.
jbohanon on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
How come their noses aren’t getting longer and longer?
Oldnuke on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
Damn, this is one of the most direct questioning I have seen in a debate. They are SLAMMING Hillary and actually taking small jabs at Obama.
muyoso on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
Russert Potato is being mean to Hillary. Just mean.
Sniff.
Has Bubba ever released his medical records? Did you ever ask that question Potato Head?
She always has an excuse. What the hell, is she 15 or something?
These two people are insane.
benrand on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
Hillary will release those records as soon as they show up on a desk on the second floor of her campaign HQs.
fogw on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
We’ll never see those tax returns before November.
Nevah.
Over30 on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
Can’t wait for McCain to answer a “campaign finance” question (bet he’s wishing he never signed that …what is it…bill of experience…and crossing the aisle”. Interesting how McCain brought up the Obama pledge on the day he was trying to wiggle out of his own deal…Politicians…all the same.
TOPV on February 26, 2008 at 10:07 PM
Yes, this is as biased as Fox News!

Barry O has never been clear about anything….
Branch Rickey on February 26, 2008 at 10:08 PM
Obama denounces Farrakhan. That should cost him some NOI voters.
Aristotle on February 26, 2008 at 10:08 PM
She’ll release her records as soon as she can’t be touched by any incriminating evidence found therein.
darii on February 26, 2008 at 10:08 PM
Tax returns? I’m a little busy right now…
Hilarious.
Dorvillian on February 26, 2008 at 10:08 PM
I hope Tim Russert has body guards. He’s in deep doo-doo from both camps.
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:08 PM
What about your pastor and spiritual leader’s anit-semitism?
carbon_footprint on February 26, 2008 at 10:08 PM
Uh, Farrakhan, Pokeestan, Massatoosits, aaaand.
Barry is slipping. Uh uh uh uh.

SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:09 PM
I just want someone to ask Senator Obama if he would be available to give the Democrat rebuttal to the next State of The Union Speech. :-)

Calypso Louie softball question for Barry.
What the heck did Timmy expect him to say, I love that brutha?
fogw on February 26, 2008 at 10:09 PM
Wow
carbon_footprint on February 26, 2008 at 10:10 PM
They are all still trying to figure out where -or what- the hell
Pok-i-stan is.
Some think he means Pokimons, which is throwing them into deeper confusion.
profitsbeard on February 26, 2008 at 10:10 PM
Damn, these are actually some tough questions. By FAR the best debate so far for the Dems.
muyoso on February 26, 2008 at 10:10 PM
Dang. tim hit him. nice
VolMagic on February 26, 2008 at 10:10 PM
Hillary’s seat must be moist seeing Obama flailing from these questions.
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:11 PM
Kudos to Tim for those questions to O.
carbon_footprint on February 26, 2008 at 10:11 PM
Yeah, bet Farrakhan goes over HUGE in Chicago Jewish Circles. He is an empty suit!
Branch Rickey on February 26, 2008 at 10:11 PM
He doesn’t tolerate anti-semitism. So then he should publicly change his church.
darii on February 26, 2008 at 10:11 PM
By announcing his unwaivering support for Israel he just lost his jew-hating far-left base.
p0s3r on February 26, 2008 at 10:11 PM
Ron Brown will be walking the earth before we get those tax returns.
She’s not even making an attempt to appear honest.
Aaaaaaaand.

MSNBC streaming is AWFULLLLLLL! Constant buffering. Looks like they need to fire Olbertack and beef up their bandwidth.
Levinite on February 26, 2008 at 10:13 PM
Hilary’s adopted the aaaannd mode because Southern Gent is right about her pants.
nemo239 on February 26, 2008 at 10:13 PM
Hey Hill, don’t forget to remind them about your Jewish relative again.
fogw on February 26, 2008 at 10:13 PM
What the hell? Are they both supporters of Isreal? How’s that gonna go over with the nutroots?
VolMagic on February 26, 2008 at 10:13 PM
Hillary slamming Obama. This is gonna be interesting.
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:13 PM
I can’t believe she’s inserting herself into this she should just keep her mouth shut and let Obama dig his own hole. She just can’t stand not being the centerpiece.
Oldnuke on February 26, 2008 at 10:13 PM
True dat. Fox is by far the best (since they use Windows Media) and CNN is good too. Leave it to MSNBC to have a bloated stream.
darii on February 26, 2008 at 10:14 PM
Obama SMACKS the softball out of the park. God Hillary is a dummy.
muyoso on February 26, 2008 at 10:14 PM

Obama is floundering badly - good news all round for us.
Pax americana on February 26, 2008 at 10:15 PM
She hit him, but it was with a girlie punch. You know, the kind where the fist goes over the shoulder. Weak.
SouthernGent on February 26, 2008 at 10:15 PM
Now, let’s hear some praise for the IDF.
Senator Barack?
profitsbeard on February 26, 2008 at 10:16 PM
I have to say that rebuttal by Obama was pretty smooth.
Complete7 on February 26, 2008 at 10:16 PM
Hillary made a great swing with differentialism of rejection and renouncing but H counter swinged to both reject AND renounce. So sweet of him.
