I never ever found SNL funny. Not even humorous.

The recent femifascist transformation has actually made it more funny – in a pathetic, embarassing kind of way, that is. But the leftos sure like it, and it may sway some of them in favor of our girl.

It was unfunny as a tonal break from the rest of the segment — the hectoring thing doesn’t wear well. She’s touched on presidential politics in a funnier way on 30 Rock (”and secretly pull the lever for John McCain”).

The “Once A Year. Period.” commercial was pretty good, though. And I want to see more of Kristen Wiig as Jennifer Tilly. That was uncanny.

Amen to that. Ever since she became the head writer on that show it has gone straight downhill. It is berefts of laughs.

When she was asking what’s the problem with 2 intelligent people in the White House I couldn’t help but wonder who she had in mind as those accolades surely don’t apply to Billary.

Good summary. SNL’s viewership has obviously degraded to liberal gay women in part if that was supposed to be funny. As usual, they didn’t provide any solutions with their arguments, only the ” we know better than you ” reasoning, so the clintons should be in the white house again. Basically the ’skit’ said that You are stupid and
we know whats best for you.

Nonsense. Clinton’s lack of nomination will make that a reality even by their own soon I’m guessing.

I couldn’t care less about Fey’s leftism because I know it’s a given. The issue I have with her is that just like so many entertainers of Fey’s generation (Ben Stiller, Joss Whedon, etc.) she’s incredibly overrated. Even though she’s on a weekly sitcom, has multiple endorsements, and (we’re told) is an amazingly talented writer, Fey has no signature bit or joke that can make everyone in America say: “Wow, THAT’S a Tina Fey line!” We’re constantly told her Weekend Update gig on SNL was groundbreaking… why? Because unlike Chase, Miller, McDonald, and the other Update anchors before her, Fey was a woman.

And she wore her “smart glasses.”

Oooooooooh, that is impressive.

The only impressive part of her inexplicable rise is that unlike Stiller and Whedon who came from established entertainment industry families, she somehow got lucky enough to charm someone at the executive level in the media conglomerate she is owned by who was then able to direct their flunkies to give her middling talent endless promotion…

…coincidently, this also mirrors Seth McFarlane’s experience at Fox.
