Obama is shaping up to be George McGovern. Louis Farrakhan endorsement. Dancing around in Somali Muslim getup with Islamic Court Union / Blackhawk Down elders. Hanging out with Weathermen Terrorists. Refusal to say Pledge of Allegiance (complete with pictures acting disrespectful), wear a lapel flag pin, act respectful during national anthem, etc. Wants Muslim Summit. Wants to run off and kiss Ahmadnutjob’s behind. Wants to kiss Raul Castro’s behind. Wants to confiscate all hand guns and semi-auto rifles.

That last alone GUARANTEES the mother of all GOTV from the NRA in Ohio, FL, PA, etc. Gun owners turn out far more than college kids. And gun owners outnumber young people 17-26 who make up only 14% of the population. GWB BARELY beat bad Dem candidates. But Obama is not a bad Dem candidate.

He’s Louis Farrakhan lite plus gun grabbing plus soft-on-Muslims plus soft-on-terrorism plus Hate-America/Flag = Dukakis/Carter/McGovern blowout. Say good bye to the blue dog dems.

Don’t forget that many of the primaries were open. I don’t have figures, but judging by many folks I talked to, lots of Republicans voted in the Democratic primary. So, it is possible the Dem figures are somewhat elevated due to that.

In any event, when it comes to nut-cuttin’ time in November any that did cross will most certainly vote for McCain rather than Obama.

I don’t have the figures on me, but i saw somewhere that Democrats ALWAYS have much bigger turnout. Primary turnout is not a valid indication to general election turnout.

True, in every case except 1996 (when the Dems had a sitting POTUS). Moonbats always show much more enthusiasm in their primaries (maybe conservatives are that bit more realist).

Good news about the opposition to Hussein Obama strengthening, but it all depends where that opposition is based. National figures are meaningless without some indication of how this plays out on a state by state level in the electoral college.

1) I Served on the Board of UNION HATING Wal-Mart

You better take a look at the Democratic turnout in the primaries / caucuses so far.

I don’t have the figures on me, but i saw somewhere that Democrats ALWAYS have much bigger turnout. Primary turnout is not a valid indication to general election turnout. Plus, Obamatusiasm is not as solid as it may seem. He didn’t rise above identity politics, he serfs on identity politics like a hippie on florida beach, which means it will turn into a shark and bite him in the hiney on his first fall.

I predict Obama will be easier to beat:

1. McCain does very good with Hispanics. Hispanics hate Obama, and they are 6 to 4 dem voters.

2. Blacks have always been voting overwhelmingly for dems, so they are irrelevant.

3. Young people are a problem, but they have been leaning democrat in all elections.

4. McCain did very good with Seniors in the primaries, and Hillary did to – so he has an easy walk there.

The only problem is stupefyingly insane Republicans for Obama, and that phenomenon has been declining in the polls over the past month. I’m sure it will be completely shattered until Nov.

You better take a look at the Democratic turnout in the primaries / caucuses so far.

My prediction, Obama gets at least 70,000,000+ in the general election, may even approach 80 million (I think President Bush got like 63 million in 2004). The Obama GOTV effort has been nothing short of impressive. For a general election it will be unprecedented.

Not only will he win, but the downticket impact will be significant. Republicans will be staring at a minimum 55 – 45 Democrat majority in the Senate and lose at least 20 more House seats.

In my neck of the woods all I heard from people who would have otherwise voted for (insert name of favorite candidate here) was “…yeah, but can he beat Hillary? I will vote for McCain cuz I think he can…”

In the end there wasn’t much of a choice… Frankly, I think it’s time for a national primary… I’m sick of my choices being limited and determined by a very, very, very small number of people…

Nah- Rudy was frontrunner for months, but his lack of focus on the earlier states where he scored 4th or 5th place cost him. Nationally, Mitt was polling around 12% when Rudy was the undisputed frontrunner- plus he came ahead of Rudy pretty much everywhere.

That said, Romney’s campaign screwed up too, losing after spending the most money by far.
