The only difference between a “maverick” and huckaclown presidency would be, it seems, that when the huckaclown screwed up he might be able to make us laugh about it. A little.

Nah, there are important differences between the two, but if there weren't, Huckabee's SNL appearance would be no difference at all. McCain's been on the show before, too, and he wasn't half bad, either.

Huckabee is clearly now in this just for some sort of name recognition benefit. This is a future career booster device that has nothing to do with this campaign. Whatever dude. There are a lot of clever Americans that have figured out how to exploit their lack of shame. It’s like Johnny Knoxville.

I conceed. Mike Huckabee is now the President of late night T.V. I haven’t kept perfect track but I think he has spent more time on late night than all the other canidates combined. In my opinion he has earned his own show.

Nope, but our current presumptive nominee can’t either. Not to mention that he has no intentions of even pretending to be one.

The “maverick”, on the other hand, just makes me want to tie him to a pole and kick him in the nuts until my legs grow too tired to continue.

What I found interesting was Tina Fey begging people to vote for Hillary just after Huckabee’s bit was over. Her closing line was “bitch is the new black”. Verrry interesting choice of words there by a flaming liberal.
