Admiral Fallon had a kevlar vest on over his BDU, it was the same color as his BDU, but if you replay the vid at about 01:01 you see a good look where you can tell. Its as Admiral Fallon is taking a sip of Iraqi Coffee.

Im not the only one who thought the helmet and vest on the reporter was funny looking am I? I mean the regular folks walking around in nothing but regular cloths, then her straped to the gills in bullet-proof armor. Just weird to me, like she didn’t REALLY wanna be telling this story so she wore the stuff to make everyone think twice. I don’t know, I just don’t entirely trust CNN.

I have a hard time saying anything favorable about CNN. The network has not been helpful at all in its coverage of the Iraq war. Maybe CNN has changed its anti-war stance since things have apparently turned around. But, CNN gets a big fat F in my book in its past coverage of this war. Sorry Allahpundit.

Fox did a better video story of this a week ago. Gold dealers are returning and 15-20 babies a DAY are born at the Fallujah city hospital. I wrote about it and posted the video on my blog. Gotta wonder what was happening 9 months ago to make this incredible baby boom and subsequent economic boom happen in Fallujah...it was, of course, the beginning stability from the surge.
