After several hours, the senators were evacuated by American troops…

After several HOURS?

Can you imagine what was going through their minds? Stuck in the mountains of Afghanistan where there are probably a few people there who are less than friendly towards Americans, and who would LOVE to capture a few senators as hostages…Meanwhile, fighting hypothermia in a blizzard. And your only hope of survival and transport to safety is the military?

Yeah, that was a tiny bit of karma, right dere.

It’s called “humor”. It may be a bit sarcastic, but it’s still humor, and not a genuine wish that these guys are harmed. If there’s a genuine wish, it’s that we hope Senator Kerry learns to respect today’s military, instead of insulting their education level.

I noticed as well the lack of ‘death wishes’ and mentally contrasted it to, say, Tony Snows cancer for example. And it’s a nice feeling to know I wouldn’t find them here, or on most any ‘civilized’ blog.
