I have lots of thoughts on this subject, but I don’t feel like getting banned tonight. So, I’ll just say the following:

I read above that the dwarf dictators of Iran and North Korea seem to be in cahoots on this operation, whatever it is. The North Koreans don’t have all that great of a handle on nuclear science. Here’s hoping that their help prompts any bomb, should it launch, to go fizz rather than bang. Better yet, maybe it would go bang while it’s still over Iranian territory.

If there’s a detonation, what is left of Israel will in turn skew global warming data hopelessly in the hot direction by nuking Iran and, for good measure, Syria, into glass sheets. Who gets to do the same honors on North Korea?

Wasn’t there some Iranian strategist who boasted a few years back that Iran was going to nuke 29 sites in the Anglosphere i.e. America, Britain, Canada, Australia, Israel (a country created by Britain) and that the rest of the world would surrender in panic? Iran will simply cease to exist as anything other than irradiated dirt a few minutes after they tap off their first nuke. There’ll be nothing to surrender to. It will become a wasteland or Old Testament proportions.

Entelechy, I doubt the Israelis are such poor readers of the American electorate not to know the negative impact such a strike would likely have on the GOP’s chances. And, should McCain win it, they might hold off until they talk with him in office. But Obama, with his statements on Iran? The jets will be on the tarmac as the polls close.
