Hillary sole “accomplishments” are a vast increase in government regulations. What she see as “accomplishment” is actually adding on scores of regulations that let local bureaucrats from the state labor department to show up at your local diner and demand that the diner owner immediately open up all her payroll records from ten years ago to discern whether a summer teenage employee ever worked any overtime. Other “accomplishments” of Hillary are things like forcing businesses to add dozens of handicapped bathrooms and access ramps at prohibitive costs. Hillary wnts government employees at the federal state and local level (none of whom ever toil in the public sector) to have complete control over everybody’s life. In my neighbord today, a busybody local member of the “historic district commission” is forcibly on a guy’s property (and the owner is hard working Cape Verdean immigrant who busts his butt at masonry every day) and demanding that the guy remove some beautiful blue stone that he put in his driveway. This is what Hillary and Barack want for America.

Is it just me, but why is she always saying that she is ready to be

the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Military.

I’ve noticed that she has said this numerous times. Why not the ‘leader of the free world’ or ‘the president of these United States’ or some other platitude? Why does she want her hands on the military? Why is this so important to her?

Did she actually say she should have anything at all to do with the military, let alone become my CiC? I just can’t listen again. I’ll probably have a stroke.

“My opponent says…”
“My opponent wants…”
“My opponent doesn’t…”

This is exactly the same way Rove coached Bush to speak during campaign season. Never ever mention your opponent by name. Always refer to them as “my opponent”.

You missed my “nuance.” LOL His recommended quote reads “For starters.” Obviously the victories aren’t policy accomplishments in and of themselevs — that’s for him to dig up — I merely suggested a nice applause line for him with which to begin the retort.

I agree the guy is a supreme lightweight, but I am enjoying watching Hillary get trampled.

His stump speeches have made me re-think my life. I was a go-getter idealist, then I went to the com bar, hated the work, told them to shove it, now I work for govt, cushy job, 9-5pm, and since Obamamania took over i’ve been wondering: should a legal whizz-kid like me be doing what I’m doing? Why don’t I go to some low-end public law set, do some pro bono, help people for feck-all money?

Not quite there, yet, and I’d still rather just do a DPhil and be a don- but Obama has caught me, I’m his bitch. Interestingly, his stump speech is really targeted at cynical people: like me, I guess tonnes of people who proudly declared it was “pointless” have fallen for the Obama tricks.

Aye, he’s the mehdi.

Doctor Gonzo’s favourite stump speeches:

- Iowa: the start of it. “There’s something happening”.

- New Hampshire: glorious defeat. An inspiring speech. “Yes We Can”.

- South Carolina: victory at last, but a combative, aggressive display by Obama after lots of negative campaigning.

And the best of them all:
- Post Super Tuesday, in Chicago. “I love you back.” sassy. But best of all- now is our time, here is our moment, because “We are the ones that we ‘ve been waiting for.
